𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 | 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠

The future is supposed to be something to look forward to, but for me, it is something to be afraid of—it feels like a storm that I can't outrun.
‎
‎I spend hours overthinking the unknown, staring at the ceiling full of thoughts that I can't explain—imagining every possible outcome and every disaster that might happen.
‎
‎I’m trying to see the future that I really can't see. I’m drowning in what if’s and worried about the dreams that I dreamt about not happening.
‎
‎My mind is full of questions that I can't answer right away.

“Am I going to be successful?”
“Will I be able to get into my dream school?“
‎
‎I’m wondering if I am truly happy, if I’m missing out on something essential, or if I'm just disconnected from what makes me feel alive.
‎
‎I’m scared of changes. Too scared to be on my own and too afraid to be a failure someday. I'm scared of the possible outcomes that I can think of.
‎
‎But now, as I transform my thoughts into words, maybe I realized something—my mind is so focused on the future that in the present time I’m not doing something to make myself the person that I really want to become.
‎
‎It’s feels like a trap, I am overthinking about the weight of the tomorrow instead of making myself better each day.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

There are things in life such as simple, yet as captivating, as a genuine smile. When someone smiles at us, it can feel like the Lord has blessed us with a very precious thing — that smile suddenly lifts up our spirits. The phrase “Your smile lights up my world” captures it perfectly. It's really more than just a compliment; it is an acknowledgement of the way one person's happiness can illuminate the lives of those people who surround them.

A smile has the potential to comfort, inspire, and empower. It can turn a bad day into something comforting and extraordinary, heal invisible wounds, and it will serve as our reminder that there is beauty in small moments. When someone lights up the world filled with darkness, it is as if their joy is contagious; It spreads love and positivity towards anyone nearby.

It shows that a small gesture can affect people's lives, something powerful as a smile can immediately make someone's day — in a world that can often feel empty and dark, a smile is a small yet radiant flame, it's like a candle. A candle which lights up a room filled with emptiness and darkness, a smile has a light that guides, uplifts and inspires ultimately.

“Your smile lights up my world” is more than a phrase, it's a quiet celebration of little things that make life brighter and less heavy, and a reminder that a small gesture can have a huge impact on us.
