Hiiiiii!

Apologies for being absent for so long. Your girl has been so busy with work.

Anyway, dropping by to share this wonderful diner that I have ordered food from sa foodpanda - Authentic Biryani and Me ("Indian meets Oragon" coz they serve a mix of Indian and Bicolano dishes), located at San Andres, Cainta.

Absolutely fell in love with their Beef Curry! Tender beef, and aromatic and mildly spicy curry sauce 🤤 So nice to mix with Adlai! I kinda regret not adding Chapati (will defs do next time).

I also like their Spicy Chicken Fry, coated in masala - also mildly spicy and not nakakaumay.

I also added their Special Pancit Bato, and my mum fell in love with it! I tried it too and I can understand why - the sauce 🥺 The dish itself isn't too saucy or dry, just the right amount lang. Plus, I appreciate the thinly chopped veggies and meat added, and they mixed so well with the sauce and the noodles.

The dishes arrived warm, so it's defs bagong luto 🥺

Will defs order again!

Don't let the first photo fool you coz if you tap the photos, you'll get an awesome surprise!

Warm, toasted bun filled with equally warm, gooey custard or Milo - Singko Star Lucky Fried Chicken's Fried Custard Egg and Milo Buns!

Think of siopao for a sweettooth, pero not too sweet, just right which is how I like it to be ☺️ The bread 🤤 The fillings 🤤 Fresh. And did I mention warm? ☺️

Make sure lang that you have tissues because as in oozy gooey yung filling!

Also, they have steamed versions, which I will get naman next time.

Really yum Pomodoro with Meatball from Alfredo's Cucina Toscana (you know, my fave little diner that serves one of the best tasting basil pesto pastas ever)!

I finally tried Bem's Creamy Cheese Pimiento and super yuuuuummmmm! Hindi maalat, very light and creamy on a loaf. I have yet to try sa pandesal (bukas).

Shout out to Singko Star Lucky Fried Chicken for this really good Szechuan Chicken! The chicken is already sooooo good and in good portions too, and the peppers didn't try to overpower at all. Spicy but flavorful, just how I want my spicy chicken to be.

I was not expecting it to be this good!

ISLAND BISCUIT INC.'S TEDI!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I remember first having this around late 2000s (2007 onwards) and loving it not just for the cute bear biscuits, but also coz of the right amount of sweetness. It's my go-to cookies when I need a quick fix of sweets on my stressful days.

Island Biscuit products were a staple grocery item of my mum's when I was a kid. Their Choco Wafer Sandwich 🥰 and my baby nephew and baby niece love Choks (chocalate biscuits).

Tedi retails at PHP6 where I bought them, but they limit the purchase to 5 per order (Liana's on Foodpanda). I can't seem to find them on FB or Shopee 😔 I'll probs try to send them a mail though because they really doing a great job at making these biscuits, and they deserve some praise for that🥺🥰 (and that I just want them to keep making it hihi)

Chicken a la King Pie from Jollibee is really GOOOOOOD!!!

Delivered mainit pa! Ma-sauce. Hindi nakakaumay. The sauce goes well with its crunchy, flaky crust. Sakto yung chicken bits. Would defs recommend!

When nostalgia hits you.

Last Saturday, I ordered their Spaghetti and Super Cheeseburger via GrabFood. It took me back to fun times with my sisters and our late lolo. The spag is still as good as I remember it. The Super Cheeseburger 👌 hindi umay yung buns, tamang timpla yung mayo and catsup and the generous portions of the gulay + meat/beef patty = HAPPINESS! Sakto sa presyo. The 60-min wait was worth it kasi warm pa sya when it arrived 🥰

I remember when my parents and/or our lolo Juan and yayas would take us to EDSA Central(?) (where Greenfield District is now located) and bring us to Tropical Hut to eat and play with yung parang merry-go-round nila on Sundays. Spaghetti has always been my fave pati yung regular burger nila. Life happened and the branch we frequent was gone, and I don't visit or order often. It made me happy that because of a viral nostalgic tweet, Tropical Hut is getting its well-deserved flowers. It's one of the pioneer Pinoy fast food chains that provided people my age so many fond memories. Sana nga they stick around for so long so that younger generations can enjoy what I think is one of the best local fast food chains to ever exist.

Thank god for projects that affords me to indulge on nostalgia. 🤭

Reasonably priced good food?

is a good find!

This penne pesto is 145 pesos and the packaging is 🤌 (I didn't expect the box packaging coz this is the second time I ordered from them, but it's liempo + pares - also really good stuff, but I forgot to take pictures coz I was so hungry when I got them. The packaging is nice tho!) The taste? Absolutely good! 🤌 The chicken bits? 🤩 I probably should have added more parm 😶 but I forgot 😅. Still a good meal, IMO.

They also serve coffee (I ordered Caramel Macchiato) - iced or hot - and meals (with or without rice). I also ordered cordon bleu. I couldn't add their photos coz I forgot to take pictures LMAO 😶 But they are also super good!

And once again, I have been swamped with work. HA! Apologies for not updating for a while. 🥺

Speaking of swamped with work, this one is such a great treat yo cap off a busy day - Ice Cream of the Year's Milk Cheese ice cream!

I came across this coz I often get hit by their FB ads. Think it took me a while + some good reviews + .bighitofficial's Jungkook to finally order.

For PHP349, you get the creamy, cheesy goodness that is not too umay and not too sweet. The crushed grahams also balanced out the taste. The taste kinda reminded me of my fave queso ice cream flavor from my childhood 🥰 Can't count how many can share, but I definitely had more than half of the can 🤪 Also, lemme highlight how quick the delivery was - it was sent to me the following day after I ordered it. Plus, commendable team for providing updates on the order!

Nice to revisit your batang 90s days with this wonderful cup of ice scramble from . Sweet classic ice scramble topped with marshmallows, crushed Oreos, wafer sticks, sprinkles and skimmed milk! They have medium, large and liter cups and you can order as much toppings as available. Great way to chill and reminisce your childhood, right?
