We tried Carpentry & Coffee last Sunday and this is their Seasalt Caramel flavored coffee at P145.00 for a regular size.

They told me this is one of the best sellers and honestly, it’s quite disappointing. Too sweet for my liking, I didn’t taste any seasalt flavor, and I can’t justify its price (comparing it to other iced bevs I’ve had).

I’d give them another chance, soon! Gonna try their hot cups.

I had enough time to get my iced coffee a while ago, good thing is .coffee is always around the corner (at least in my area)!

Tried their Nitro Mocha again and I’m pretty sure I’ve had this before but I can’t remember how it tasted. It’s on the sweeter side, maybe because it’s mocha lol or I think they put a little bit too much of sugar. Idk. Try it for yourself! It’s P175.00 for a large cup with lots of ice. 😅

Coffee taste is present. Mocha-ness is there. Not too strong, and a little bit sweet.

This is Tim Horton’s RICHER and BOLDER coffee, the new Dark Roast flavor!

Definitely a step-up from their usual taste. If you want a richer coffee experience, this should be your go-to!

Flavor – New York Cheesecake Pearl Milktea

Taste - 7/10
The cheesecake tastes good! It complements well to the milktea. However, the drink itself is on the usual side - it's nothing special. On the sweet side but nonetheless, it's a good alternative than your usual go-to milktea shops.

Price - 9/10
It's around P138.00 when you buy it from Grab, so it's a lot cheaper when buying in person (Grab tends to put additional margin afaik).

Overall - 8/10
The taste is uncommon and the price is good. I would definitely recommend this if you're a fan of cheesecakes and The Red Heifer PH is definitely an alternative choice for your daily milk tea cravings.

.coffee brought in some of their good stuff - 2 of their best sellers, French Vanilla Latte and Cold Brew Concentrate! They procure local coffee beans all the way from the Kalinga province then gets brewed and bottled in Pasig City. It’s good to note that your drinks are being prepared on the same day of delivery!

Flavor – French Vanilla Latte

Taste - 8/10
It’s on the sweet side. You can taste the vanilla goodness and that pungent Kalinga beans flavor but personally, this is a little too sweet for me. It’s not as diabetic-level sugar like what most mainstream coffee shops give you but the amount of sweetness plus the kick of the French vanilla makes it sweeter than usual, at least, for me. However, putting a couple of ice cubes makes a difference!

I think it’s best served with ice! You can make 2-3 glasses depending on how much ice cubes you got.

Price - 7/10
You’ll get a 250mL reusable bottle for PHP 135.00. Is it expensive? No, to some degree, but is it cheap? Also, no. I looked into various marketplaces, and I can see that most ready-to-drink coffees are being sold around PHP 120 to PHP 155 SRP and has 30mL more.

Big kudos for putting a carton enclosure on the bottles! This makes the delivery more secured. They also included some snacks! The brownies make a good pair, and it tastes delicious! The brownies are from Jo-Anne Bakes.

Overall -7.5/10
For a homemade brew, this is a lot better compared to others. I think what makes this a good buy is that you’re paying for the coffee experience. You’ll get that rich coffee taste with a hint of nutty vanilla flavor. It’s legit and I will recommend it!

WE’RE BACK!

It’s been almost a year since my last post. Most parts of 2021 have been challenging and stressful, and it affected my desire to post consistently. I did nothing, barely post anything, yet you keep on supporting the page through sharing, commenting, and liking old posts here in Facebook and in Instagram. And with that, the page has now 6k following and still growing!

So, thank you to everyone who’s still here and please keep on supporting! We have lots of things to do moving forward.
