It’s out of the bag! The annual Barriolympics is here!

Top Draw Animation is proud to have worked on the series and showcase the traditional games we Filipinos all know and love! Tara, laro na!

The series is officially launched by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Philippines and made in collaboration with Animation Council of the Philippines (ACPI).

Exciting news! Our Creative Director, Lean Lagonera,is one of the esteemed final panel of judges for 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟖! 🚀

With his exceptional expertise and a sharp eye for discovering talent, he has helped determine the victors among the Top 10 finalists. 🏆

🖋️ Mr. Lean Lagonera
Creative Director
TOP DRAW ANIMATION, INC.

Lean Lagonera began his animation career at Fil-Cartoons in 1988 as an In-betweener, working on shows like “The Adventures of Don Cayito & Sancho Panda”, “Darkwing Duck”, “Tiny Toon Adventures,” and “Ren & Stimpy.” After a few years, he became an Animator, contributing to “Young Robin Hood,” “The Addams Family,” “Jonny Quest,” and more. He was later promoted to EFX Animation Supervisor, overseeing shows like “Dexter's Laboratory,” “Powerpuff Girls,” and “The Magic Pudding.”

In 2003, he joined Top Draw Animation as Assistant Director, collaborating on projects such as “Ivon of the Yukon,” “Krypto the Superdog,” and “Johnny Test.” By 2007, he moved into a Lead Director role, managing traditional shows like “Dennis & Gnasher" and directing digital series such as “The Skinner Boys,” “Get Ace,” “My Little Pony (TV series),” “Equestria Girls,” and “My Little Pony: The Movie.”

In 2021, he was appointed Creative Director at Top Draw Animation, where he has overseen shows including “Jamie's Got Tentacles (Season 3),” “The Guava Juice Show,” “Chaneques,” and “Azuro.”

Trick or Treat at Top Draw Animation Studio! 👻🎃
Our halls were filled with magic, fun, and familiar faces on October 30th as we welcomed young Trick-or-Treaters dressed as beloved characters from Top Draw Animation’s shows! From animated heroes to magical creatures, our studio was buzzing with creativity and Halloween spirit.
Highlights from the day: ✨ Kids brought iconic characters to life with their amazing costumes! 🍬 Candy stations were set up around the studio for the ultimate trick-or-treat adventure.
