This Tuesday on MANDARAGIT FILES – SPORTS!, join Edmund Samaniego Pangilinan for special coverage of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum as it celebrates National Women’s Month with a very special guest — legendary bowler and sports commissioner Olivia “B**g” Coo.

A true icon in Philippine sports, Commissioner B**g Coo will talk about one of her key advocacy projects, the PSC Women in Sports Awards, which will be held on March 20 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Now on its third year, the PSC Women in Sports Awards is part of the broader PSC Women in Sports Program, an important initiative that aims to promote greater gender inclusivity in sports and recognize excellence among women across all levels of competition — from elite athletes to para athletes and masters athletes.

This meaningful recognition program continues to shine a spotlight on the strength, discipline, achievement, and leadership of women in Philippine sports. From its first staging in 2024 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, to last year’s ceremony at the Century Park Hotel, the awards continue to grow as a platform for honoring women who continue to break barriers and inspire the next generation.

The PSA Forum session starts at 10:30 AM and is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, and ArenaPlus.

1PM Shrine. As expected wala pa dito ang EDSA40 na protest group. Southbound sa EDSA ay hinaran na sila ng mga pulis. Pinapaiiral ng Pulis ang no permit no rally na polisiya dahil ang may permit ay ang kabilang grupo na 4PM pa an programa, ang Trillion Peso March. Ang grupong ito ay di pumapayag na may panawagan ng pagpaalis ng kasalukuyang pangulong PBBM at gobyerno nito bilang bahagi ng pananagutan sa mga malalaking anomalya sa flood control projects. Habang ang mga iniipit ngayon sa Edsa at sumisigaw na lahat panugit. Post kato ng opinyon nyo sa baba at pagkatapos sumama na dito.
