The lights are low, the tension high, the crowd begins to loom, As shadows flee the flicker in this techno-sonic room. We’re mapping out a miracle, dispelling all the gloom, With lasers cutting pathways like a weaver’s glowing loom.

The architecture’s shifting—watch the garden start to bloom, Across the stone and mortar, there’s no longer any room For static, boring surfaces; we’ve sealed their gray-scale doom, And launched a neon rocket with a cinematic vroom.

The pixels hit the corner with a thunderous kaboom, The bass is kicking harder than a bridegroom in his plume. It’s a visual explosion, a psychedelic zoom, The universe is shaking when we finally drop the BOOM.

Nilisan ni Heneral Gerard Alexander Baranda Fallarme ang mortal nating entablado noong ika 19 ng Oktubre, Dos Mil Veinticinco, sa panahon ng ligalig at dilim, sa gitna ng liwanag ng kanyang sining.

Dalawampung taon siyang nagsilbing heneral ng liwanag—walang pagod na humuhubog ng mga espasyo, lumilikha ng mga daigdig, kumakatha ng mga kalawakan gamit ang mga imaheng supling ng hinulma niyang liwanag. Isa siyang premyado at ang nangungunang alagad ng sining sa projection at video design sa Pilipinas.

Tinagurian siyang Alyas Gunita sa hukbo ni Pingkian. Dalawang dekada niyang binuhay ang mga entablado sa Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanib ng naratibo at motion graphics—bagay na lalong nagpalalim at nagpalawak sa mga gawa ng kapwa niya alagad ng sining, at nagpakintal ng kanilang mga palabas sa gunita ng mga manonood na Filipino.

Si GA ay naging print model bago naging disipulo ni Raymund Isaac, naging aktor sa musikal at dula ni Shakespeare, katuwang ng maraming direktor sa pagkukuwento, mentor ng mga batang designers, isang matalik na kaibigan, at BFF ng lahat. Kilala siya ng lahat sa kanyang pagiging mapagbigay nang taos sa puso. Iniwanan niya tayo ng napakaraming disenyo, konsepto, at mga palabas bilang paalala sa atin na ang kagandahan ng sining ay tunay na mapagpalaya.

Nakikiramay ang Ateneo ENTABLADO sa pagpanaw ni GA Fallarme, isang tanyag na taga-disenyo ng video at projection sa mundo ng teatro.

Siya ay naging taga-disenyo ng video at projection sa produksiyong "Sa Tahanan ng Aking Ama" (2024) ng Ateneo ENTABLADO. Ang organisasyon ay labis na nagpapasalamat sa kanyang kontribusyon.

His light and legacy live on through the stories he shaped, the performances he elevated, and the countless hearts he touched.
