Our disciples will continue even if we’re no longer there beside them, if we carefully usher them to Christ Himself. If we commit ourselves to helping them receive freedom and healing in their hearts, reach their maturity in the Word of God, and help their character be molded, they will continue.

Like Jesus, even if He physically left them, He molded them, nurtured them, corrected them, guided them, and invested His life in them—He prepared His disciples so that even without Him, they would continue the work He began, rooted firmly on a strong foundation and fully dependent on the Holy Spirit.

He formed and molded a committed disciples who, even if they lost their lives for the Gospel, did not turn their backs. They persevered to the end and walked faithfully with the Lord.

We have not seen or heard things by accident. Everything God allows us to know is meant to move us to pray and intercede. When we look around, we realize how much the world needs the prayers of every believer—to stand in the gap and cry out to God.
