Sadly, some of us as believers are becoming lukewarm and slowly fading away. It’s heartbreaking to see ourselves—and others—not reaching the potential God has placed in our lives because it’s being choked. Choked by our unwillingness to make up our minds to cut every string of compromise, and our unwillingness to remove every distraction that could potentially lead to our downfall.

I’ve been in this kind of situation, and as my eyes are slowly being opened, it’s alarming to see that I’m not the only one. A few people around me are going through the same thing. And when God opens our eyes to it, we should not harden our hearts. We must cooperate. Our talents and service mean nothing without our willingness to obey Him.

We slowly become lukewarm when our love for others grows cold, when the burden in our hearts for souls begins to fade, when our priorities start to shift in the wrong direction, and when we begin to pursue other things instead of Him. Most importantly, we become lukewarm when we start to forget our first love—Jesus. We begin to lose our passion for Him.

Nothing in this world is worth the cost of losing You, Lord. If something asks us to give up what belongs to You, it is like saying we do not need You. Your ways and Your will are far greater than anything this world can offer.

Choosing You is sometimes painful, but we can never go wrong in choosing You. It is always worth it. A good opportunity in this world is never truly good if it requires us to compromise what is important and eternal.

Panghawakan natin ang Pangako ng Diyos sa atin, “ Hawak Mo ang buhay ko at alam Mo ang plano Mo sa buhay ko.” - Jeremiah 29:11

There are days when my soul feels worn, when the road ahead seems veiled in shadow, and I wonder if I can take another step. Yet, here I stand-moving, breathing, becoming. And this song I will sing, born from both ache and awe, is my offering in the midst of it all. To follow You is to walk against the wind, to obey is to surrender what is easy-but oh, the beauty found in the yielding. It is not easy, but it is worth everything.

In every season of our lives, trusting God is very important. 🤍

Let's make up our mind to pursue holiness in fear of God.

One thing I've learned—and continue to walk in (though it’s really hard)—is that having the fear of the Lord means obedience is never optional. It's about having deep reverence and awe for Him. And if we truly respect and revere Him, we will hate the presence of sin in our lives in any form—because we love Him too much to break the heart of our Heavenly Father.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." — Proverbs 9:10

He calls us to be holy, just as He is holy. Pursuing holiness day by day is not easy, because it means choosing to deny ourselves daily—but it is absolutely necessary.

"But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" — 1 Peter 1:15–16

"Then He said to them all: 'Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.'" — Luke 9:23

"Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." — 2 Corinthians 6:17

Grace… 🤍🕊️

There are moments when you just want to pull away from the crowd. But that’s not how it should be. We’ve come so far, yet not everyone will welcome the new version He’s made you. We’re all guilty of it; we still see people for who they used to be, even after many years. As you move forward, you realize everything changes in this world. One season flowers bloom, and in another, they die. Just like the changing seasons, so does a person’s life. There are things we outgrow, lessons we learn, and challenges that make us strong. But it’s all by His grace that we still persevere, believe, and keep hoping.

It may hurt to hear reminders of who you no longer are. But in those moments, we learn to magnify Him even more, to focus on His voice, and cling to His promises. He will finish what He has started in us. As He molds us, we learn to be gracious, merciful, and kind to others because we, too, rely on that undeserved grace. That grace has given us new life.

In the midst of struggles, let us choose to praise His Name and honor Him. Because no one else believes in us like He does.

You believed in us even when our lives seemed to be falling apart, and we are forever grateful. Let us finish what You have called us to do. And if we lose our way, Lord, remind us that You are not finished yet.

Acts 20:24 says, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

We can't remove our flesh, and that's the reality. But prayer is what kills its desire, so that we do not give in to it and can walk in the Spirit. In prayer is where we fight battles in the spiritual realm. But if we don't pray, our flesh kills our prayer life, leading to spiritual decay.

We must not withhold the Truth just because we fear someone or some people might get offended. We must preach and share the Truth regardless how people may perceive it, for the Word of God is the absolute truth. The Truth that will set the captives free.
