birth to b**b tube hits, namely “Betty and the Beast,” a comedy-drama with singer-songwriter, Aiza Seguerra and actor-comedian, Jimmy Santos and “H3O (Ha, Ha, Ha Over!)” a musical-gag show topbilled by comedy brilliants, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola aired in QTV 11 ( GMA 7 subsidiary). Established in 1994 by Galing Pinoy Franchise Excellence awardee Antonio P. Tuviera, APT Entertainment has then etched its name in bringing to fore high caliber television contents. It was in the year 2000, when APT Entertainment hosted various momentous events such as Gawad Urian, Gawad Direk, Katha Awit, and Philippine Badminton Tournament and it was in the same year that it first ventured in prosthetic make-up in the movie “Enteng Kabisote.” In 2012, the Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola concert made headlines in the musical entertainment scene which clamored for another equally successful concert in 2013 after which they were accorded the Certified Concert Artists and Male Concert Performers of the Year Award.
2005. Feeling the pulse of the movie industry and its demands, APT Entertainment embarked on co-producing full length movies such as, “Ispiritista”, “TXT”, “Scaregiver”, “Dobol Trobol”, “Yaya and Angelina”, “Love On Line”, “Ang Darling Kong Aswang”, “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”, “Pak Pak My Dr. Kwak”, “Enteng ng Ina Mo”, and “Si Agimat , Si Enteng at si Ako.” APT pioneered the first ever full-length cartoon animation in the Philippines entitled “Urduja”. It also mounted a film series called Sine Direk in 2009 which showcased six movies with different genres that brought recognition to Philippine Cinema as one of the films, “Ded na Si Lolo” was chosen to be the Philippine’s Official Entry to the 82nd Oscars’ Best Foreign Language Film category. And in 2012, the movie “Bwakaw”, co-produced with Octobertrain Films has been the Philippine’s Official Entry to the 85th Oscars’ Best Foreign Language Film category. Also in 2012, APT came up with the comedy film “D Kilabots, Pogi Brothers, Weh?” Since then, APT Entertainment has virtually entertained all sectors of the movie going public.
