The MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy (MRA) was privileged to participate in an educational road safety activity at the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), where actual motorcycle riding demonstrations were conducted to promote safe and responsible riding practices.
The activity focused on essential motorcycle safety precautions, including the proper use of protective equipment, pre-ride inspections, defensive riding techniques, and responsible road behavior. These demonstrations aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills to help reduce road crash risks and promote a culture of safety.
A special lecture was also delivered by Sir Gabriel Go, who shared valuable insights on preventive measures and the importance of complying with traffic laws and road regulations. His discussion emphasized that discipline, awareness, and adherence to road rules are key factors in ensuring road safety for all motorists.
Representing the MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy were Sir Crispen Guinan (Cris Guianan), Operations Head Alyssa Camille Bautista , and Marketing Head Ma. Carmela G. Doruelo (Ca Mille), who actively supported and participated in the successful conduct of the event.
The MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to Gille Helmets for their support and participation in the activity. Their contribution of tokens and safety-related items provided to our fellow PCG personnel further reinforced the importance of promoting motorcycle safety and rider protection.
We are likewise grateful to the Philippine Coast Guard for the warm welcome and the opportunity to collaborate in advancing road safety awareness. Through partnerships such as this, we continue to strengthen our commitment to educating riders and building safer roads for everyone.
