FINALLY I CAN TALK A BIT MORE FREELY!
Gave everyone a headstart to watch Marvel's Spider-Man: before I give my honest thoughts since I was lucky enough to have watched it a day prior to its release in Philippine cinemas nationwide. It was topsy-turvy! A real rollercoaster of emotions!
Picking up from the events of , Peter's life reflects a lot of people in contemporary time handling multiple losses. It was more of a relation to the character as he picks up life again from scratch and adjusting to the changes happening around him. Melancholic tbh, I felt like I was watching myself during the earlier years when my Dad passed. The sacrifices to be done, the self-pity kicking in because you see others happy and you're miserable; it hit home hard.
But as it goes, life always finds a way to make itself more interesting! Lots of suprises from this flick, lots of jokes, even the corniest or most slapstick of all humor pops outtanowhere. A bit blurry on some but eventually it gets clearer.
Nonetheless, this Spidey movie is a great ode to Tobey's Spidey 2 flick from more than 2 decades ago. As to why, you might need to find out for youself very soon! Cheers guys, happy watching!
