Demonstrating exceptional military competence, synchronized precision, and remarkable tactical proficiency against participating ROTC units across the region, the PCC ROTC Unit solidified its reputation as one of the regionโs most outstanding and formidable military training contingents. The victory stands not only as a testament to the cadetsโ relentless preparation and sacrifices but also as a proud reflection of Passi City Collegeโs enduring commitment to leadership development, patriotism, excellence, and nation-building.
The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) serves as one of the most prestigious and comprehensive evaluations conducted among Reserve Officersโ Training Corps units. More than a mere competition, the annual inspection functions as a platform where ROTC units showcase the accomplishments, competencies, discipline, and operational readiness they have developed throughout the academic year of military instruction and training.
The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) serves as one of the highest forms of evaluation for Reserve Officersโ Training Corps units, functioning as a platform where participating schools present and assess the accomplishments, competencies, and overall performance of their cadets throughout the academic year of military instruction and training. The inspection rigorously examines various areas, including Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Commandantโs Briefing, Theoretical Examination, Map Reading written and practical examinations, M16 Assembly and Disassembly with written examination, Basic Life Support (BLS) written and practical examinations, Small Unit Tactics (SUT), and Administrative Evaluation.
Demonstrating exceptional mastery in both theoretical and practical military competencies, the PCC ROTC Unit exhibited remarkable composure, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the entire inspection. Cadets showcased synchronized movements during ceremonial performances, tactical efficiency during field exercises, and academic competence during written evaluations, earning admiration from evaluators and spectators alike.
At the forefront of the unitโs success is Commandant Col. Rolly B. Figueroa (Ret.) PA, whose leadership, discipline, and dedication have continuously guided the cadets toward excellence. Assisting him is Maj. Nelvert P. Mission (QMS) PA, the Assistant Commandant, whose unwavering support and commitment in training the cadets significantly contributed to the unitโs outstanding performance during the competition.
The journey of the PCC ROTC Unit in the RAATI reflects years of perseverance and continuous improvement. During its first participation in the regional inspection, the unit successfully emerged as Provincial Champion and secured fifth place at the regional level. Although the unit fell short of the championship title during its debut, the experience became a source of motivation for the cadets and officers to strive harder and elevate their standards.
Determined to rise stronger, the PCC ROTC Unit returned during its second participation with intensified preparation, enhanced training programs, and strengthened unity among cadets. Their hard work paid off as the unit captured the coveted Regional Championship title, marking a historic achievement for Passi City College and proving that the institution could stand among the best ROTC units in the region.
This year, carrying the pressure and honor of being the defending champion, the PCC ROTC Unit once again proved its dominance by successfully retaining the championship crown. The back-to-back victory symbolizes not only consistency in excellence but also the enduring spirit of discipline and resilience deeply rooted within the organization.
Months before the inspection, cadets underwent rigorous military drills, tactical exercises, academic reviews, and physical conditioning sessions to ensure preparedness in every category of the evaluation. Despite the physical exhaustion and demanding schedules, cadets remained committed to the mission of upholding the pride and honor of Passi City College.
