GROW LITTLE FLOWERS
By: Tiger Eye
In the quiet soil where teardrops fell,
She planted seeds no one could tell,
A broken heart beneath the ground,
Hoping healing might be found.
Each morning light kissed leaves of green,
Soft as hope she’d never seen,
Petals opened to the sky,
While memories slowly drifted by.
She once had loved with all her soul,
A love she thought would make her whole,
But promises like petals torn
Left her heart aching and worn.
So she would kneel among the blooms,
Let their fragrance fill the glooms,
Whispering to every flower,
“Teach my heart to heal each hour.”
And as they grew in colors bright,
Her pain grew smaller in their light,
For in their bloom she came to see—
She, too, could grow, and still be free.
