𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | MSU-Sulu SHS Faculty Attends Meeting with Office of the Chancellor on Academic Matters
Senior high school department faculty members attended a faculty meeting with the Office of the Chancellor and the College of Fisheries to discuss academic and other urgent matters on the afternoon of August 25, 2026, at Rajah Baguinda Hall.
The meeting started with an invocation led by Sir Adzhar H. Ismael, SHS Faculty, followed by a short message from Prof. Kadafi A. Basaluddin, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development. Prof. Abdel Ajim M. Salasain, Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension and Innovation, shared insights on the meeting, followed by Prof. Ronaldo A. Ancheta, Dean of the College of Fisheries; Prof. Nur-in I. Alih, SHS Director; and Chancellor Nagder J. Abdurahman. The program was emceed by Mrs. Fatima Ayesha Ventura M. Nasir, Special Assistant to the Office of the Campus Secretary.
Sharing important academic responsibilities with the faculty and getting to know each one, the meeting emphasized the improvements in the quality of education of the students, mainly improving the performance of the university and highlighting the importance of research publication, which will help not only the students but also the university and the community.
The meeting ended with an open forum, giving the MSU-Sulu faculty and staff the opportunity to ask important matters concerning their departments, followed by a photo opportunity.
