Mr. Temporary Presiding Officer, my esteemed colleagues in this august council, ladies and gentlemen:
Today, I rise on a matter of personal and public importance.
As the term of office entrusted to me by our beloved constituents comes to a closeโand with the results of the most recent elections now firmly behind usโ ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฏ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ. ๐ก๐ผ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ. ๐๐ป๐ฑ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐.

These past 3 years have been filled with challenges, debates, decisions, and, most importantly, learning. Every ordinance passed, every resolution approved, and every Barangay visited reminded me of the true meaning of public serviceโserving not for recognition, but for impact.
Let me also acknowledge the results of the recent election. ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐
๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. That is the essence of democracyโwe serve at the pleasure of our constituents, and we step aside with dignity when called to do so. ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐, ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐, ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ.
๐ง๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ผ ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ฒ, ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐. Your faith in my leadership sustained me through the highs and lows. To those who may have opposed or criticized meโthank you as well. Your voices pushed me to think harder, listen more, and lead better.
Today, I formally begin the process of turning over my responsibilities. I am committed to ensuring a smooth and complete transition. As a private citizen, I remain engaged and hopeful for the future.
