Natural day look to business look with smokey liner for .makeupartist ! ✨

Ale is another makeup artist in class that has the most experience working with makeup so I was nervous doing her makeup at first but she was so patient and kind and totally let me take the reigns with this look which is always appreciated.

I feel that as makeup artists there’s always a certain level of pressure when we have to do another artist’s makeup but as long as you stick to your own standard and know what you’re doing, you have nothing to worry about.

It’s never too late to upgrade your skills as well. Us joining the makeup program at just meant that we wanted to improve even further because your skills are an investment, never let it die down. 💕

Who doesn’t love a good creative makeup day? 🙈

Inspired by the Perlas ng Silanganan as Gaby and I are both Filipino 🇵🇭🌊🐚

This was also the look I personally styled with help from Gaby’s own siren dress. I did some quick finger waves with pearls and sea shells glued onto her face as well as the iridescent purple haze highlighter from 🧜‍♀️.

Working with full coverage foundation & bold pigments with a smokey liner and who better to partner with than my colorful queen, ! 🦄

For this look I focused on creating an even base, a bright under-eye and a grungey smokey eye. Looking back at it now, this color eyeshadow was a huge risk since it could very quickly turn into a black eye but thankfully I was able to work with it and create this glam and grunge look instead.

Very 90’s supermodel if you ask me. 👀

I graduated Makeup School this week! 🎓

Though my journey at comes to an end, there will be more exciting things to come for my future. I couldn’t have chosen a better school to attend and a better class to be a part of.

I’m not kidding, if you were a fly in the wall during one of our classes, you’ll quickly realize you are surrounded by super talented and supportive people and I want to thank each and every one of them 😉

, when I look back on my first day at JCI you will always be the first person I think of. Thank you for being the shining light in the classroom and for always being so down with my crazy ideas!

Let’s rewind it back at the looks I created during my time in makeup school!

Have to start with my partner from DAY 1, .mua ! 💕 We went back to the basics of creating skin-like finishes, a classic eye, and a n**e lip transitioning into a bold lip color.

Especially loved working with Dia for this first look because she has such perfect skin!
