A Legacy of a Sold-Out Love for God
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The Sold-out loved of GOD
Who had Sold-Out Love for God?
“Magdalene” means she came from Magdala, a town near the Sea of Galilee.
She is often called Mary Magdalene to distinguish her from other Marys in the Bible (Mary, the mother of Jesus; Mary of Bethany, etc.).
Mary Magdalene is mentioned at least 12 times in the Gospels — more than most apostles.
She Was Delivered by Jesus
Luke 8:2 (NIV)“...and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out.”
Mary Magdalene Showed her sold-out love For God !
1. She Followed and Supported Jesus’ Ministry
Luke 8:3 (NIV)“These women were helping to support them out of their own means.”
Mary Magdalene was one of the women who traveled with Jesus and financially supported His ministry.
She was a disciple of Jesus in the truest sense — not one of the Twelve Apostles, but a faithful follower.
2. She Was Present at the Crucifixion
She Was Present at the Crucifixion
Matthew 27:55–56 (NIV)“Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. Among them were Mary Magdalene…”
3. She Witnessed Jesus’ Burial
Matthew 27:61 (NIV)“Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
She stayed even after Jesus died, showing deep love and faithfulness.
4. She Was the First to See the Risen
John 20:14–16 (NIV)“At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. He asked her, ‘Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?’ ... Jesus said to her, ‘Mary.’ She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, ‘Rabboni!’ (which means Teacher).”
How can we show a sold-out
love and humility?
Matthew 26:6–13 and Mark 14:3–9 — John 12: 1-8 A woman anoints Jesus with expensive perfume.
JUAN 12: 1-8
Meaning of Her Act
1. Washing His feet — a sign of humility and service.
2.Using expensive perfume — an act of sacrifice and honor.
3. Wiping with her hair — a deeply personal, humble expression of devotion.Jesus said this act prepared Him for burial (John 12:7), symbolizing His coming sacrifice.

  Tunay na Pag-ibig
  Tunay na Pagpapakumbaba
  Tunay na Pagsisisi
  Tunay na Pagsamba
A truly sold-out heart for God doesn’t hold back anything valuable.
humble
God sees the heart more than the outward act.
One way we can show sold-out love and humility is by being willing to set aside our own pride and ego in order to serve and show kindness to others.
Sold- out love for God can be expressed through our willingness to forgive and show grace to those who may have wronged us
This can be demonstrated through acts of compassion, understanding, and selflessness, where we prioritize the well-being and needs of others above our own.
