Capiz State University Pilar Satellite College held an orientation to introduce the faculty and staff and shared information about the Registrar’s Office, guidance and counseling services, Student Affairs and Services, scholarships, the Data Privacy Act, and the campus medical and dental services. Sessions continued with discussions on library services and the Sports Office.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Capiz State University Pilar Satellite College opened school year 2025–2026 with the “Pagbati” event, led by the Supreme Student Council and Peer Facilitators’ Guild to welcome freshmen and returning students. Various activities allowed students to interact and connect, reflecting CapSU-Pilar’s unity and hospitality.

PILAR, CAPIZ — The Capiz State University Pilar Satellite College held its first flag ceremony for the school year 2025–2026 today, August 11.

Faculty, staff, and students gathered in the campus grounds this morning to honor the national flag, marking the official start of classes for the new academic year.

𝗞𝗵𝗮𝘇 𝗝𝗣 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗦𝗨’𝘀 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗬𝗩𝗥 𝗥𝗠𝗡 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆

Khaz JP Padilla, the overall summa cm laude of the Capiz State University (CapSU) system, made a special guest appearance today on DYVR RMN Roxas City. She shared her inspiring academic journey and the values that guided her to achieve the highest honors across all CapSU campuses.

Padilla, one of only three summa cm laude graduates among thousands of students this year, earned the distinction of being the top graduate of the entire university system. Her visit to the local radio station drew attention from listeners and supporters who admired her perseverance and dedication.

Her story continues to inspire many, not only as an academic achiever but also as a symbol of resilience and inclusivity. CapSU and the local community celebrated her success as a proud representation of excellence, determination, and hope for future scholars.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | Khaz-JP Padilla makes historic feat as CapSU's first trans valedictorian

Earning the title of summa cm laude and valedictorian of Capiz State University Batch 2025, Khaz-JP Padilla made history as the first transgender woman to graduate with the highest academic distinction in the university’s history.

Completing her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at CapSU-Pilar Satellite College, Padilla shared how her journey was driven not just by personal ambition but by a desire to break barriers for the LGBTQIA+ community navigating a traditionally binary school system.

In her speech, Padilla dedicated her achievement to those long silenced by exclusion, standing as a symbol of courage, inclusivity, and hope for a future where education welcomes everyone.
