PALACE DECLARES MAY 27 A REGULAR HOLIDAY FOR EIDโ€™L ADHA; OPERATIONS RESUME MAY 28

Malacaรฑang on Tuesday declared Wednesday, May 27, 2026, a nationwide regular holiday for the observance of Eidโ€™l Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice.

The declaration was issued following a recommendation from the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), which determined the date based on the 1447 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar. One of the most significant feasts in Islam, Eidโ€™l Adha honors Prophet Ibrahim's devotion and underscores the values of charity and community solidarity.

Government offices and campus operations will close for the day. All regular school operations will resume on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Last night, the Municipal Auditorium came alive for the Educatorโ€™s Night 2026, as educators from across the municipality gathered for an evening of recognition, celebration, and culture.

A special moment of pride was the awarding of our very own Alexa Abaner for placing 3rd in the Cebu Provincial Sports and Cultural Meetโ€”a commendable achievement that brings honor to our school.

The night was made even more vibrant through cultural performances from different districts and schools, with ASMT proudly showcasing the Kabkaban Festival of Carcar Cityโ€”a lively tribute to heritage, artistry, and culture.
