We had an amazing time at the Umeda Sky Building!!! ❤🇯🇵 We finally experienced the famous Kuchu Teien Glass-enclosed Escalator, had some delicious Matcha & Strawberry Soft Serve Ice Cream, saw the amazing Skyline of Osaka and took lots of photos for us to look back at the amazing time we had in the future. 😍

We enjoyed the Dotonbori Wonder Cruise so much! ❤😀 The best time for this boat ride is definitely in the evening so that you can see all the colorful neon signs across the Dotonbori River!!! 😍

Did you know that the famous Glico Running Man Neon Sign in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 was inspired by a Filipino 🇵🇭 track & field athlete, Fortunato Catalon? Nakaka-proud!!!!! 😍

- The Glico Running Man, a famous landmark in Osaka's Dotonbori, is famous because its inspiration is a Filipino track and field athlete, Fortunato Catalon.
- Catalon was a successful sprinter in the early 20th century, winning the Far Eastern Games in 1917 and representing the Philippines in the 1924 Olympics.
- His achievements and athleticism inspired the Glico company to create the iconic running man sign, making him an indirect symbol of the Osaka area and Glico's success.
