Riyadh, 16 September 2020 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh informs the Filipino Community that the Saudi Arabian Government lifted the restrictions for expatriates intending to travel to or from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at 6:00 a.m. on 15 September 2020, subject to the following conditions/requirements:
1. The passenger must be a holder of a valid visa (exit and re-entry, work permit, Iqama/resident permit, or visit);
2. The passenger must present a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result, conducted by a reliable and approved testing facility and done not more than 48 hours before arriving in the Kingdom;
3. The passenger shall abide by and be subjected to the COVID-19 prevention and control measures prescribed by the Saudi Ministry of Health; and
4. The lifting does not include travel restrictions or requirements established for reasons other than preventing the spread of COVID-19.
The Embassy emphasizes that Filipinos intending to travel to Saudi Arabia must also comply with the deployment regulations and travel restrictions being implemented by the Philippine Government.
Riyadh, Ika-16 ng Setyembre 2020 - Ipinaaalam ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Riyadh na pinapahintulutan na ng gobyerno ng Saudi Arabia ang paglalakbay ng mga dayuhan mula at tungo sa Kaharian simula ika-anim ng umaga kahapon ika-15 ng Setyembre 2020. Kinakailangan lamang na sumunod ang mga dayuhang manlalakbay sa mga alituntuning ito:
1. Mayroon dapat valid visa (exit and re-entry, work permit, Iqama/resident permit, o visit) ang manlalakbay;
2. Pagpapakita ng negatibong resulta sa pagsusuring Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), na isinagawa ng isang subok at aprubadong pasilidad at ng hindi lalampas ng apat na pu’t walong 48) oras bago ang takdang pagdating sa Kaharian;
3. Pagsunod at pagsailalim sa mga alintuntunin ng Saudi Ministry of Health para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19; at
4. Hindi saklaw ng pagpapahintulot na ito ang mga alituntunin sa paglalakbay na ipinatutupad para sa mga dahilan na walang kinalaman sa pagpigil sa pagkalat ng COVID-19.
Nais bigyang diin ng Embahada na ang mga Pilipinong nagnanais maglakbay patungong Saudi Arabia ay kinakailangan ding sumunod sa mga alituntunin ng pamahalaan ng Pilipinas sa pagpapadala ng mga manggagawa sa ibayong dagat at sa iba pang uri ng paglalakbay.
