2. Kaya naman mag score ng mga locals

3. Pwedeng malasin sa offense, pero our Pinoy team has a tendency to be absent minded in defense when the offense breaks down

4. Kai Sotto was surely missed (biggest what if this year)

5. We had no answer to their double teaming

BUT... I WILL NEVER NOT BE PROUD OF THIS TEAM:

*Exceeded expectations
*Played their hearts out
*We made a name for ourselves
*Time Cone was solidified as international caliber coach
*We crushed the dreams of other teams

Madami pa sa totoo lang! Brazil was the better coached and better fueled team today, pero panalo padin ang Pilipinas basketball sa puso ko! 🇵🇭

NOT TODAY!!! CONGRATS PILIPINAS!!! 🇵🇭

Encircled some stats we can give extra attention to -

1. The efficiency of our big men! Both Junemar and Kai excelled offensively and defensively, especially through the firsr 3 quarters! Take that haters!!!

2. Salamat Brownlee! Our star player giving his all on both sides of the court! Noticed though that aged has caught up to him so he tends to pace his game, as we demand a lot from him obviously.

3. Free throws!!! Sobrang sarap na laging penalty and Latvia and we capitalized on that especially during the clutch!

Noticed also

*coaching instructions to give fouls to slow down Latvia's offense

*Finally, our PBA players have found the perfect formula for their physicality to be applied to the international stage

*Everyone's defensive efforts including: going for lose balls, altering easy baskets, and securing rebounds

Our waterloo though would be at the PG position. Although Dwight and Newsome did amazing jobs respectively, i'd have to point out that Latvia did poor scouting on our guards or the lack thereof. Sobrang late na sila nag full court press. Yehey haha

Also, sobrang galing ni Tim Cone dumiskarte ng fouls to give natin para tigil momentum ng kalaban! GOAT OF PH COACHING!
