BSE—OUTREACH PROGRAM 2026✨
There are moments in life that remind you why service, kindness, and compassion matter so much and our outreach program at Bakyaan Elementary School was definitely one of them.
We, the BSE Officers together with our coordinator, experienced a journey that was far from easy. We had to hike for almost an hour, walking through steep and tiring paths while carrying our things and trying to keep our energy up. Along the way, we kept saying, “Bakit dito pa tayo pumunta? Sobrang hirap ng daan.” Our bodies were already exhausted even before reaching the school, and every step felt heavier than the last. But the moment we finally arrived, everything changed.
Seeing the students welcome us with their genuine smiles instantly made every pagod disappear. Their happiness was so pure and contagious that it reminded us how meaningful this outreach truly was.
The warm welcome from the teachers, parents, and the whole community touched our hearts in ways words can barely explain. Despite the challenges they face every day, they still welcomed us with so much gratitude, kindness, and sincerity.
This experience taught us that sometimes the hardest journeys lead to the most fulfilling destinations. Every sweat, every aching muscle, and every difficult step became worth it because we were able to bring joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories to the children. More than the donations and activities we prepared, we also received something priceless in return appreciation, happiness, and a deeper understanding of why outreach programs matter so much.
As BSE Officers, this experience became more than just an event for us, it became a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact on someone’s life. And no matter how hard the climb may be, Bakyaan Elementary School is definitely a place we will never get tired of coming back to.
