ABOUT

DJ Ron, also known as Ronny B, started his radio career in 2001 with Campus Radio Legazpi under RGMA Network Inc. He shared music and stories with listeners until 2005. After that, he took a break from radio and worked in a call center until 2011, where he improved his communication and tech skills. In 2011, he was offered to voice McDonald's "Mahirap Kumita Ng Pera" TV ad, marking his firs

t step into voiceover work. That same year, he also began learning audio engineering—a turning point that helped him grow in sound recording and editing. In 2015, Ron returned to radio by creating Hugot Radio—a platform where people could find comfort and connection, especially during heartbreak. In 2021, he became a Certified Audio Professional through Music Radio Creative in the UK. Earlier, in 2019, he received the People’s Choice Award from Rode Microphones for his work in the audio industry. Today, DJ Ron Banzagales is known as a kind and hardworking voice in Philippine radio. From Campus Radio to Hugot Radio, his goal has always been the same: to connect with people through sound and stories. 🎙️❤️😊

Hugot Radio is still here.
At sana, ikaw rin. 😊 God bless you!

I am carrying people from two generations while trying not to lose myself in the middle.

I think about my mother because she’s getting older.

I think about my child because she’s still growing.

And somewhere between those responsibilities, I quietly carry my own stress, exhaustion, fears, and unanswered questions.

Sometimes I just want a quiet place.
No drama.
No pressure.
No explaining.

Just a moment to breathe and hear myself think again.

Not everyone will understand this kind of weight.

But I know some people are living it too.

Some days, I feel tired.
Some days, I feel stretched thin.

But I remind myself that God sees what I carry, even the battles I never talk about.

And maybe that’s why I’m still standing.

Not because I’m strong all the time,
but because God continues to give me strength one day at a time.

Alam ko mahirap ang buhay. Lahat tayo dumadaan diyan.

Kaya habang may lakas pa, habang kaya pa, magandang maghanda unti unti.

Alam natin na ang lahat ng nangyayari,
ginagamit ng Diyos para sa ikabubuti
ng mga nagmamahal sa Kanya
at tinawag Niya para sa Kanyang layunin. ☝️😇
