Teachers are the heart of every school, turning every classroom into an avenue for growth, inspiration, and a love for learning.

To our beloved teachers of SLSU Polillo Campus, today we honor not only the knowledge you impart but also the character you embody as mentors. NEWS UPDATE| SLSU Polillo Kicks Off Science, Technology & Innovation Week

The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) Polillo officially began the celebration of the Science, Technology & Innovation Week on September 24 with the theme, โ€œSiyensya, Teknolohiya at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Kinabukasan.โ€ The event was attended by faculty members, students, and staff, demonstrating the universityโ€™s strong commitment to promoting a culture of science, creativity, and sustainability.

The program began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the SLSU Polillo booth, which was creatively made from native and eco-friendly materials, including bamboo, coconut, and palapa. This creative setup reflected not only resourcefulness but also the importance of sustainable innovation using local materials. The booth featured a variety of locally inspired products, including traditional food like cocojam, as well as handmade keychains and earrings crafted from coconut shells. These displays highlighted the communityโ€™s creativity and skill, combining science and innovation with cultural pride and environmental awareness.

The successful opening day marked the beginning of a week-long celebration of science, technology, and innovation, encouraging the entire academic community to embrace creativity, sustainability, and teamwork in building a better future.

This is in line with Malacaรฑangโ€™s work suspension for โ€œKainang Pamilya Mahalaga Dayโ€ and due to the expected impact of Super Typhoon Nando, prioritizing student safety and well-being.

University officials and non-teaching staff are still required to report for work from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while essential units will continue operating as necessary.

Araw ng mga Bayani: Isang natatanging araw ng paggunita sa mga taong nagpakita ng tunay na kabayanihan, mga indibidwal na buong tapang at walang pag-aalinlangang nag-alay ng buhay, lakas, at talino para sa ating kalayaan. Isa itong paalala ng ating pagtindig para sa sariling pagkakakilanlan at karapatan bilang sambayanang Pilipino.

Ang mga bayani noong unang panahon ang nagsimula ng paglaban para sa kasarinlan. Ngayon, tungkulin nating ipagpatuloy at panindigan ang kalayaang kanilang ipinaglaban. Ating pahalagahan ang kabayanihan ng bawat Pilipino, mula sa mga mandirigmang nasa larangan ng digmaan, hanggang sa mga pusong handang maglingkod sa kapwa, at sa mga bayaning gumagamit ng talino at katotohanan upang maghatid ng liwanag at kamalayan sa sambayanan.

Iba-iba man ang anyo ng kabayanihan ngayon kumpara noon, mahalaga pa ring patuloy nating gunitain ang tunay na dahilan ng pagdiriwang na ito, ang walang humpay at napapanahong laban para sa ating karapatan at kalayaan.
