CHURCH CORRUPTION?
PAG-USAPAN NATIN.

Church corruption is a hard topic to talk about, pero ito rin ay isang bagay na kailangang pag-usapan.

Sa buong kasaysayan, kahit sa Bible, makikita natin na kahit ang mga taong tinawag ng Diyos ay nagkakamali kapag power, pride, lust, at personal interest ang nauuna kaysa kay Cristo.

Ang problema ay hindi ang Church mismo. Ang problema ay kapag nakakalimutan ng Church kung bakit ito nag-eexist.

𝐀𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pera.
Church corruption happens when spiritual authority is used for control instead of care, image instead of integrity, at self-interest instead of service.

𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠:
- 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞.

Kapag ang ministry ay tungkol na sa impluwensya, hindi na sa pag-aalaga ng kaluluwa, doon nagsisimula ang corruption.

𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐚
Hindi tahimik si Jesus tungkol sa religious corruption.

“Para kayong mga pinaputing libingan—maganda sa labas, pero puno ng kabulukan sa loob.” (Matthew 23:27)

Religious sila, active sa ministry, pero kulang sa humility at righteousness. Paalala ito sa atin na hindi lahat ng mukhang banal ay tunay na spiritual.

𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡?
1. 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Walang nagche-check, walang nagco-correct(Lalo na sa mga leader).
2. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 – Mas sikat ang leader kaysa kay Cristo.
3. 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 – Sumusunod ang tao dahil sa takot, hindi sa pagmamahal.
4. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 – Tahimik na lang para “walang gulo.”

Kapag ang correction ay tinatawag na rebellion, at ang transparency ay tinatawag na disloyalty, corruption will grow.

𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐍𝐢𝐭𝐨?
- Nawawala ang tiwala ng mga tao sa Church.
- Maraming kabataan ang lumalayo sa faith.
- Nasasaktan ang mga inosente.
- Napoprotektahan ang mali, hindi ang tama.
- At higit sa lahat, napapangalanan ang Diyos sa maling paraan.

Pero...
Kahit may corruption, hindi iniwan ng Diyos ang Kanyang Church.

“Ang paghatol ay nagsisimula sa sambahayan ng Diyos.” (1 Peter 4:17)

Hindi ito para sirain ang Church kundi linisin at ibalik sa tama.
Kaya habang may pagkakataon pa, dapat itong baguhin at ayusin.

Ang gusto ng Diyos ay:
- Shepherds, hindi celebrities.
- Servants, hindi controllers.
- Humility, hindi branding.
- Faithfulness, hindi fame.

Ang solusyon sa church corruption ay hindi paglayo sa Church(I mean hindi pagkawala ng tiwala sa church) kundi pagbabalik kay Cristo.(I mean kahit saang church ka man ilagay basta you have that true relationship with God).

Bumalik tayo:
- Sa Salita ng Diyos.
- Sa tunay na discipleship, hindi lang attendance.
- Sa servant leadership.
- Sa katotohanan na may pag-ibig.
- Sa repentance, hindi image management.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲,

Hindi lang kailangan ng Church ng magandang marketing.
Kailangan nito higit sa lahat ng takot sa Diyos.

Hindi kailangan ng mas mahigpit na control.
Kailangan nito ng tunay na pagbabagong-loob.

Nawa’y hindi natin gamitin ang pangalan ng Diyos para itayo ang sariling kaharian.

Bagkus, maging Church tayo na sumasalamin kay Cristo, hindi sumisira sa Kanyang pangalan.

Here's what it means when someone accuses you of being too sensitive for reacting to their disrespect:

They know exactly what they did...that’s why they rush to flip the script. Calling you “too sensitive” is a distraction.

It shifts the spotlight away from their behavior and onto your reaction, so you end up defending yourself instead of addressing the real issue.

This is how gaslighting works: they minimize their disrespect, they exaggerate your (normal) human response, and they make you believe you’re the problem.

It’s their way to dodge responsibility. Remember: your reaction didn’t create the problem. Their behavior did.

I always say, "I leave the Church because of them, but in reality I didn’t leave the Church because of them…
I left because I lost my focus on Jesus.

Sometimes we think people pushed us away.
Pero kung tutuusin, minsan hindi sila ang dahilan, tayo.
We get distracted. We get tired. We get overwhelmed.
And slowly, without noticing it, our eyes drift away from Jesus.

But here’s the good news:
Awareness is the first step back.

Hebrews 12:2 says,
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”
Hindi Niya tayo tinatawag para tumingin sa tao,
kundi tumingin sa Kanya.

Yes, there may have been disappointments.
Yes, there were moments that hurt.
Pero ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit tayo lumalayo minsan?
Because our hearts stopped looking at Christ.

And that’s okay, because God is gracious.
His mercy meets us where we are, and His love gently pulls us back.

So today, I choose to say:
I didn’t leave because of them.
I left because I lost sight of Him…
But now, I’m coming back, because my eyes are fixed on Jesus again.

A fresh start.
A renewed focus.
And a heart anchored in Christ alone.

𝐓𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 "𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫," 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞:

People will tell you that marriage is about finding the right person for you, someone who makes you happy, meets your needs, and fits into your plans for the future.

But God made marriage for something much bigger and better.

It's not enough to just find the right person to get married to.
It's about being the right partner in a covenant for God's glory.

Before you even think about the wedding day, keep in mind why you are getting married:

✍️𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭;
it's a covenant. It's a holy promise made to God that shows how much He loves us.

✍️ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩;
it's a reflection. It's meant to show the world how Christ loves His Church: selflessly, steadily, and with grace.

✍️ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥; 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.
God put together your future marriage as a team to serve His kingdom and lead others to Him.

𝑺𝒐, 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕?

1. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱.
Look for character instead of charm, godliness instead of glamour, and a shared goal instead of just a shared hobby. Don't just ask, "Do I like them?" Ask, "Would following God with this person make us more like Jesus?"

2. 𝗕𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲.
If you don't want to please God, you can't have a marriage that does. It's time to base your life on His Word, learn how to pray, and practice forgiveness and service with your family and friends. To get ready for a holy marriage, live a holy life.

3. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
His timing is just right. His plan is sound. If God wants to write a "great" story with your life, don't settle for a "good" one. He will make your marriage happen much better than you ever could if that is what He wants for you.

Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."

📌Pray for your future spouse right now. Become the man or woman that God will require you to be. Additionally, you will have a ministry together rather than just a marriage.

📌 Napapababa Mo ang Asukal Mo sa Dugo kapag Kumakain ka nito sa Umaga 👇

1. Boiled Kamote 🍠

➡️ Bakit nakakababa ng sugar: Mababa ang glycemic index at may resistant starch na nagpapabagal ng pag-akyat ng sugar.
💡 Best time: First meal of the day. Kapag gutom pa ang katawan, mas stable ang blood sugar kapag kamote ang unang kinakain.

➡️ Bakit effective: Mas mataas ang beta-glucan kapag chilled, kaya mas malakas ang sugar-control effect.

Cebu’s floods proved how fast “just rain” can turn deadly.
Hopefully it won’t happen again, but with approaching, it’s smart to prepare, especially for flash floods.
These are the survival tips most people never think about until it’s already too late. ⚓🌧️

FLASH FLOOD SURVIVAL GUIDE: THE TIPS PEOPLE ONLY LEARN AFTER A DISASTER ⚠️🌊
(Hopefully it won’t happen when hits, but if it does, this might save your life.)

1. Create a way to reach your roof.
If your house has no roof access, make one now. Prepare a ceiling hatch or an area you can break open easily. Once floodwater fills the stairs, you’re trapped.

2. Keep a real ladder nearby.
Not a chair, not a table, an actual ladder or sturdy wooden steps. Floods hit at night and in the dark. You won’t have time to improvise.

3. Keep basic rescue tools ready.
A hammer, axe, or crowbar within reach. You might need to break through a window, ceiling, or wooden wall to escape.

4. Freeze water in bottles early.
They keep your food cold when power’s out, and once melted, they’re safe drinking water. Freeze several bottles, don’t rely on one jug.

5. Seal floor drains and toilets.
Floodwater pushes up from pipes. Use thick rags, plastic, or tape. You’ll thank yourself when dirty water doesn’t bubble into your house.

6. Turn off and raise all electricals.
Unplug everything, move extension cords and appliances higher, and switch off the main breaker before floodwater arrives.

7. Keep your LPG tank high and secure.
Disconnect it, tighten the valve, and tie it upright in a safe corner. Gas leaks during floods are invisible killers.

8. Prepare DIY flotation aids.
Tie together sealed bottles, gallon jugs, or Styrofoam boxes with rope. Even a few can keep one person afloat. (anything that will float)

9. Secure pets with float support.
Use crates lined with sealed bottles or attach tied jugs to collars with rope. Don’t leave pets caged below, they panic and drown quickly.

10. Pack an “elevated survival kit.”
Store it high, near your escape route. Include flashlight, whistle, small radio, lighter, rope, first aid, dry snacks, and water.

11. Sleep in clothes you can escape in.
Wear warm, light, quick-dry clothe, something you can move in fast. Flash floods strike in seconds, often while people are asleep.

12. Charge and seal your essentials.
Keep your powerbanks, IDs, documents, and cash in waterproof bags. Store them near your grab bag, not in drawers.

13. Keep your car and pets on higher ground before it rains.
Don’t wait until the road turns into a river.

14. Store light sources in every room.
Headlamps, battery lamps, or candles inside jars (to prevent tipping). Floods always cut power first.

15. Fill your washing machine and tubs, or any container with water
For cleaning or flushing once the tap runs dry. Not drinking water, but still essential. ( if flash flood will not happen )

16. Prepare reflective signals on your roof.
Bright cloth, mirror, or flashlight ready. When trapped on a roof, visibility is life.

17. Keep ropes ready for tying and towing.
Tie yourself or others to sturdy points if current is strong, or use it to pull someone in safely.

18. Don’t rely on cars as shelter.
Cars float, flip, and trap. Once water reaches the tires, abandon it.

19. Memorize your neighborhood’s high points.
Know which buildings, schools, or hills are safe. GPS won’t help when the signal dies.

20. Have one “meeting point” for your family.
Choose a nearby high ground or relative’s home where everyone will regroup if separated.

21. Prepare garbage bags for waterproofing.
Large trash bags work as ponchos, dry storage, or makeshift flotation aids when sealed with air.

22. Bring pets and small children close during heavy rain.
Don’t assume you’ll have time to find them when floodwater rushes in.

23. And if it starts flooding fast, don’t wait. Just go up.
That’s why it’s called a flash flood, it happens in a flash. Your best chance is height and speed. Don’t wait for an official alert. Go up fast.

24. If water reaches your roof, stay calm, stay visible, conserve energy.
Make noise periodically, flash lights, or wave bright fabric. Rescue teams scan for motion and color first.

25. If rescue takes long, use floating debris wisely.
Plastic containers, foam, or coolers can support you. Stay near stable structures. Keep everyone together. (This is just a last resort )
