🌴 Puyo Suites Siargao – A Home Away from Home
During my recent 6-day, 5-night trip to Siargao, I stayed at Puyo Suites—an accommodation I can genuinely recommend not just for solo travelers like myself, but also for groups looking for a comfortable and convenient base while exploring the island.

👩💼 Staff & Service
The staff were one of the highlights of my stay. They were warm, friendly, and very accommodating—always ready to assist with any requests. I also appreciated the local tips and recommendations they shared, which helped me enjoy more of Siargao’s hidden gems.
🛏️ Rooms & Comfort
The rooms are tidy, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only minor concern was that the air-conditioning wasn’t as cold as expected. However, the staff quickly provided an electric fan, which circulated the cool air effectively. Their proactive approach made the stay all the more comfortable.
🚿 Bathroom Facilities
The comfort room was clean and functional, with a working hot and cold shower. Water pressure varied throughout the day—sometimes strong, sometimes not—which is fairly common on the island. When needed, the trusty “timba and tabo” provided a practical solution.
🏍️ Motorbike Rentals
A big plus for convenience: Puyo Suites has its own motorbike rentals available onsite. Rates are between ₱400–₱500 per day, but long-term rentals (3–4 days) are discounted to ₱350/day. This saved me the hassle of looking for rentals outside and gave me more time to explore the island.
📍 Location
The property is well-situated, close to restaurants and nightlife spots, with the beach also within walking distance. While I didn’t explore the beach much, I enjoyed the accessibility to dining options, which made meals very convenient after a long day out.
🌟 Overall Experience
My experience at Puyo Suites was fantastic overall, especially considering the value for money. The only limitation was that the property was fully booked during my stay, so I had to secure another accommodation for part of my trip (review to follow).
That said, Puyo Suites made a lasting impression with its warm hospitality, great location, and convenient amenities. It’s a place I would gladly return to on my next Siargao adventure.
