DOST-PAGASA continues to monitor three Low Pressure Areas (LPAs), with one now showing a high chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

🔴 LPA 07g – Now classified with “HIGH” potential of becoming a tropical depression within 24 hours.
🟠 LPA 07h – Remains at “MEDIUM” potential of developing into a tropical depression within 24 hours.

MARINES LEVEL UP | 3rd MARINE BRIGADE CONCLUDES CYBER WARFARE SEMINAR, OPENS ACDC 25.4

On July 21, 2025, the 3rd Marine Brigade successfully held the Joint Closing Ceremony of the Cyber Warfare Seminar and the Opening of Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum (ACDC) 25.4 at the Headquarters, MBRP, Puerto Princesa City.

🔐 A total of 30 graduates completed the Cyber Warfare Seminar, which tackled modern digital threats and defense strategies. The Brigade also officially launched ACDC 25.4, a joint coastal defense training co-facilitated with the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

👨‍✈️ The ceremony was presided over by BGEN ANTONIO G. MANGOROBAN JR PN(M), Commander of the 3rd Marine Brigade, who emphasized adaptability in the face of evolving warfare.

🗣️ “Whether this is new or a refresher, what matters is your enthusiasm to learn. In today’s rapidly changing world, we must be ready—anytime, anywhere, in any domain,” he said during his keynote address.

OVER 80 FAMILIES RESCUED IN NORTHERN PALAWAN AMID HABAGAT RAINS | PCG IN ACTION 🌧️🚤

Mahigit 80 pamilya mula sa hilagang bahagi ng Palawan ang na-rescue ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-ulan na dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

📍 Gamit ang kanilang mobility assets, agad na tumugon ang PCG upang ilikas ang mga residenteng na-stranded sa mga binahang lugar. Ang mabilis na kilos at pagtutulungan ng mga tauhan ng PCG ay nagligtas sa mga apektadong pamilya mula sa matinding panganib.

🤝 Patuloy ang pagbabantay at pagresponde ng mga awtoridad sa mga komunidad na lubhang tinamaan ng masamang panahon.

Pagdating ng mga otoridad sa lugar, tumambad sa kanila ang nakabukas na pintuan ng isang canteen. Agad nilang ininspeksyon ito at naabutan sa loob ang isang 15-anyos na kabataan na itinago sa pangalang Rrrr.

🎯 Sa isinagawang imbestigasyon, itinuro ni Rrrr ang kanyang mga kasamahan:

Ngunit sa kanyang pagsubok na pigilan ang isa sa mga kabataan, inambahan umano siya na tila may kukunin sa tagiliran kaya siya umatras at humingi ng tulong sa ACTF.

💬 Ayon sa may-ari ng canteen na si “Jo”, 59 y/o, wala namang malaking halagang nakuha sa tindahan maliban sa ilang baryang nasa ₱5.00.

📢 Ang security guard ng lugar, si SG Testiza, ay inakala umanong mga taga-simbahan ang mga bata dahil ang itaas ng Rengel ay simbahan, kaya hindi niya agad pinansin.

✅ Agad na tumawag ng Police Station 1 ang mga tauhan ng ACTF upang i-turn over ang mga kabataang naabutan sa aktong pagnanakaw.
