Puerto Princesa, also known as the "City in a Forest" is obviously covered in green. However, within these green scenery pops bright, contrasting, punchy colors.

The deep-purple lush of the Jacaranda , the bright-yellow shine of the Golden Shower, the blazing-red glare of the Fire Tree and of course the soft-pink glamour of the Balayong (though not in bloom on the photos).

There are many more colors of nature seen here and they are all worth capturing. The City in a Forest, on its golden hour, is just as colorful as the lights that will light up the place when the darkness bites!

Easter does not end on the Easter Sunday. In fact, this is where it begins, a seven-week celebration of the Church celebrating the mystery of Christ's Resurrection.

As we enter into the Third Sunday of Easter, let us reminisce the events of the past "Salubong" that happened on the dawn of this year's Easter Sunday.

Alleluia! Christ is risen indeed.

The bells ring once again! Christ has triumphed over death. He defeated darkness; He is our light and our salvation.

With this victory, Jesus brings us joy and hope that one day, we too may forever live in His everlasting kingdom.

Alleluia! With grateful hearts we praise the Lord and thank Him for the gift of salvation.

This is the day that Jesus died on the cross for our salvation. The day He embraced us and fully shared the nature of being like us humans, experiencing the suffering, pain, and death.

Today, we thank the Lord for the gift of salvation, the gift of life everlasting.

The 40 days of Lent have passed. The bells are rang and the Gloria is sung after five Sundays without it. This day begins the Paschal Triduum.

This will be the last time we hear the bells for three days. This is a long solemn celebration; a continuous celebration that will not end until the Easter Vigil.

Let us take this time to reflect, pray, and repent. Have a blessed Holy Week!
