Ang quince ay isang mabangong prutas na kamukha ng mansanas o peras, pero hindi ito kinakain nang hilaw dahil matigas at maasim ito. Mas sumasarap siya kapag niluto, kaya ginagamit sa jams, jellies, at desserts.

📌 Trivia:
Noong sinaunang panahon sa Europe, ang quince ay itinuturing na “fruit of love and happiness” at madalas ibinibigay bilang regalo sa kasal.

🍯 Kapag niluto, nagiging sweet, floral, at fragrant siya—kaya paborito sa marmalade at pastry fillings!

Ang xoconostle ay isang maasim na bunga ng prickly pear cactus na galing Mexico 🇲🇽. Hindi tulad ng matatamis na cactus fruit, mas ginagamit ito sa pagluluto 🍲—perfect sa mga sarsa at ulam para sa extra asim at flavor!

Pwede rin naman kainin fresh, pero expect mo na medyo maasim siya 😉
