Silaw Para iti Panagrang-ay ti Pugo, La Union, Inc. This association was named: SILAW PARA ITI PANAGRANG-AY TI PUGO, LA UNION, INC. and the purpose for which it was incorporated are as follows:

1.

To serve as a lead group in the dissemination of pertinent information/s in Pugo, La Union as in “The right of the people to information on matters of public concern shall be recognized. Access to official records and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions, decisions as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development, shall be afforded the citizen, subject to such limitations as maybe provided by law.” (Sec. 7, Art. III – Bill of Rights, Philippine Constitution).

2. To serve as a watch and monitoring group that would bring into the attention of all concerned agencies, the abuses and excesses of officials of government in Pugo, La Union that may constitute violations of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, and other crimes as provided by law.

3. To initiate actions involving mass support in the maintenance of Peace and Order, protection/conservation of the environment, and all other matters of the like in Pugo, La Union.
