40 days 💔

To anyone who knows the weight of a quiet house, it has been some time since my Papa passed, and if there is one thing I have learned, it’s that grief doesn’t fade—it just changes shape. Some days it is a sharp, sudden ache, and other days it is a dull, heavy background noise. But the underlying truth remains the same: I miss my Papa terribly.

​My Papa was a pillar in my life. He was the person I looked up to for strength, the one whose approval meant the world to me, and the person who could make everything feel okay just by being there. Losing him felt like losing a piece of my own foundation.

​When you lose your father, you don't just miss the person he was; you miss the future memories you were supposed to make together. You miss the advice he won't get to give, the milestones he won't get to see, and the simple comfort of his presence.

​But even in the sadness, I feel his influence everywhere. I see him in the values I hold, the ways I handle tough situations, and the memories that still bring a smile to my face through the tears. He may not be here physically, but the love he poured into my life is permanent.

​To my Papa, You are missed every day, loved always, and never, ever forgotten.
