When we were little kids, Lola Andang and Nanay Mizpah taught us a practical drill to memorize the musical notes on a grand staff using our hands. So I turned that purely "visual demonstration" into this diagram.

A few notable observations:

1. All line notes follow a cyclic pattern, G-B-D-F-A-C-E.
2. All space notes follow the same cyclic pattern, G-B-D-F-A-C-E.
3. On the treble staff, the first line note is the same as the last space note. The first space note is the same as the last line note.
4. On the bass staff, the first line note is the same as the last space note. The first space note is the same as the last line note.
