Psalm 118:24 NIV
“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.”

Reflection
Every new day is a reminder that God is good in and through our lives. Psalm 118:24 tells us to recognize that today is not just another day but it's another day that God has given to us, and to use for His glory.

We often look for God’s goodness with a grand expectation, maybe a big miracle, an answered prayer, financial blessings, or breakthroughs. But God’s goodness is also found in every morning the moment we wake up. To be able to love, serve, forgive, learn, work, worship, and encourage someone etc.

As God has given us today, we can seek today’s purpose. We do not need to know everything about tomorrow to fulfill God’s purpose today. Our responsibility is to faithfully use what God has placed in our hands right now. So before you start your day try to ask, “Lord, what can I do for You today?”

Dear Lord, thank You for this day. Help us to recognize Your goodness not only in the big blessings but also in the simple things You give each day. Help us not to waste today searching for the opportunities You have laid before us. Show us the way as well as what to do and give us the wisdom to fulfill it this we pray in Jesus name Amen.

Have a blessed worshipday.

Sin killed Jesus. Lust kills love.
Fear kills faith. Doubt kills Peace.
Anger kills gratitude.
Laziness kills purpose. Distraction kills focus.

Now read that backward!

Once there was a man who was constantly unhappy with his life. One day he asked God, “Why does everyone have to carry their own cross? Couldn’t You give me a lighter one? I’m tired of struggling every single day.”

That night, the man had a dream. He saw a long line of people walking slowly along a road, each carrying a cross on their shoulders. He was walking among them, carrying his own.

After a while, he became exhausted. Looking around, he convinced himself that his cross was longer and heavier than everyone else’s. So he stopped, took it from his shoulders, and cut a piece off the end.

Immediately, the journey became easier. With his shortened cross, he moved much faster and soon reached the place everyone had been traveling toward.

But then he stopped in shock.

A deep canyon stretched out before him, and on the other side lay the land of Eternal Happiness. There was no bridge, no path, no way around it.

“How am I supposed to get across?” he wondered.

Then he watched the people who had been walking beside him. One by one, they took the crosses from their shoulders, laid them across the canyon, and used them as bridges to reach the other side.

When his turn came, the man lowered his own cross toward the gap.

It didn’t reach.

He had cut it too short.

The man sank to his knees and wept bitterly.

“If only I had known…”

When he woke up, he never again asked God to make his cross lighter.

Sometimes the burden we are desperate to escape may be the very thing that prepares the way for us later.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Reflection
If you had a time machine and could go beyond time and see your future it certainly would be an advantage because we can prepare for every eventuality in our life and make some preparationstomake Life's smooth.

But we can all just imagine that, for sure We all want to know what tomorrow will bring. But God does not always give us a detailed picture of tomorrow. Instead, He gives us His Word to guide us as we walk toward tomorrow.

Proverbs 29:18 reminds us of the importance of vision and God’s revelation. Without God’s direction, we can easily live according to our own understanding, desires, and fears. Scripture gives us a godly perspective so that even when we cannot see the future clearly, we know how to walk into it and trust God rather than ourselves.

The benefit of knowing tomorrow through Scripture is not that we can predict every event. Rather, God’s Word prepares us for whatever tomorrow brings. God may not show us everything that will happen tomorrow, but He shows us the way we should walk today. So we should not waste time or become obsessed with securing our future because God knows and already holds tomorrow.

Dear Lord, we may not know what tomorrow will bring, but we can know Your Word through the Bible to guide us. May Your Word be our light when we cannot see what lies ahead this we pray In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a blessed Saturday.

One day, a grandfather was driving with his grandson. The scenery changed outside the windows as the boy watched the road with curiosity.

Suddenly, his grandfather asked, “Do you know why the windshield is so big, but the rearview mirror is so small?”

The boy thought for a moment and shook his head.

His grandfather smiled and said, “Because what’s ahead of you is much more important than what you’ve already left behind.”

Sometimes we spend far too much time looking back at the past. We replay our mistakes, old disappointments, people who are no longer part of our lives, and moments we wish we could change. But if you keep staring into the rearview mirror, you can easily miss what’s happening on the road in front of you.

The past still matters—that’s why the rearview mirror is there. Every now and then, it’s worth looking back to remember how far you’ve come and what those experiences have taught you.

But your main focus should always be forward.

Because there’s a reason the windshield is so much bigger than the mirror: there is still an entire road ahead of you.

“True competence doesn’t need to brag; let your work speak for itself.”

A person who is genuinely capable does not need to constantly announce their achievements or convince others of their worth. Their actions, character, consistency, and results naturally show what they are capable of.

Bragging can make us appear proud, while humility allows our work to gain respect naturally. We should be confident in our abilities, but we should also remember that our gifts and opportunities are blessings from God.

✅Life Lesson

Let your character and actions speak louder than your words.

You don't have to compete for attention or prove yourself to everyone. Keep doing your best, stay humble, and allow the quality of your work to speak for you.

Recognition is more meaningful when it comes from others rather than being demanded by ourselves.

Success should make us grateful, not arrogant.

📖 Bible Verse

Proverbs 27:2 (NIV):

“Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.”

This verse directly connects with the message. It teaches us not to seek attention by praising ourselves. Instead, let our actions and character earn genuine recognition.

Another powerful verse:

Philippians 2:3 (NIV):

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”

✅The lesson: Be confident, but remain humble. You don't need to tell everyone how good you are—consistent good work will speak for itself.

Isaiah 30:21 NIV
“This is the way; walk in it.”

Reflection
In life, it is easy to get lost especially if you are doing something for the first time. Life can be hard if we don't know the do’s and don'ts. Mistakes and consequences in life are like falling into a deep pothole.

Have you ever been lost and scared of how to move forward in life? The Bible tells us in Isaiah 30 that we do not need to walk scared and blindly for God will show us the Way.

Today's verse reminds us that God does not leave us alone when we face decisions, uncertainty, or an unfamiliar future. His voice guides His people: “This is the way; walk in it.” But be careful not to try and force God to show us the entire journey before we take the first step. God cannot be dictated and often gives us enough guidance for the next step.

Sometimes we may have several choices in front of us and oftentimes God is already telling us to take that step but we refuse to do because of fear. So instead of being controlled by fear, We can listen before we move and be reminded that His Guidance requires obedience too. And in every step we don’t need to know everything even about tomorrow because we only need to trust God with the next step.

Dear Lord, guide us in the way we should go. When we feel uncertainty in life help us hear Your voice and disregard our fears and our own desires. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know that You are already there. Help us take the next step with faith this we ask in Jesus' name Amen.

Have a blessed friday.
