Rewatching Extraordinary Attorney Woo for the nth time since 2022. 💖 🐬
As a PWD, I put myself out there to socialize and make friends. At the end of the day, we just want to feel like we belong and are accepted for who we are despite our condition. Fortunately, whenever I talk to people, I manage to make friends. I really love initiating conversations and am quite talkative—like when I was enrolling, and before I knew it, I was already chatting with someone new! Hahaha. I am truly blessed to have people who love, accept, and support me for who I am.
However, as I get older and face the real world after college graduation, my observations and personal experiences have shown me that no matter how hard you try to fit in, there are situations where people will always see your disability first—not your capability. It reminds me so much of what Attorney Woo said in that scene.
To be honest, the PWD community often receives the fewest opportunities and benefits. Not everyone is able to study or work due to their health conditions, which leaves them without a source of income. Yet, most PWDs rely on continuous maintenance and medication just to survive.
Just like anyone else, we want to live, love, and build a meaningful life despite our condition. We are fighting to live just like you. So, please be kind to everyone, because we never really know what someone else is going through.
I just wanted to share this based on my observations of my fellow PWDs and my own personal experiences. Spread love and kindness, beautiful souls! 💖✨
Nag-rewatch lang bigla napa-share hahaha
