"Good Friday" isn't called "good" because of the pain of the cross, but because of the grace that flowed from it. It is the day that reminds us that even in our darkest moments—when all seems lost and the shadows feel long—there is a divine plan at work.
The cross wasn't the end of the story; it was the bridge to our hope.
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
Take a moment today to breathe in that peace. Whatever burden you are carrying, remember that you don't have to carry it alone. The work is finished, the price is paid, and love has already won.
