FREE OUTPATIENT MEDS FOR PHILHEALTH MEMBERS

Members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) can now avail up to P20,000 worth of free outpatient medicines per year starting this Thursday, August 21.

This follows the launch of the state-backed health insurer of the Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment (GAMOT) package under PhilHealth Circular No. 2025-0013.

75 classes of free medicine can be availed at PhilHealth-accredited facilities for various conditions, including infections, asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure and other heart conditions.

Puwede nang makakuha ng hanggang P20,000 na halaga ng libreng outpatient medicines kada taon ang mga miyembro ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) simula ngayong Huwebes, August 21.

Kasunod ito ng paglulunsad ng state-backed health insurer ng package na Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment (GAMOT) sa ilalim ng PhilHealth Circular No. 2025-0013.

Maaaring i-avail ang 75 klase ng libreng gamot sa PhilHealth-accredited facilities para sa iba’t ibang kondisyon, kabilang na ang infections, asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, at high blood pressure at iba pang heart conditions.

Senator Erwin Tulfo hit the alleged huge commissions and kickbacks pocketed by contractors and some government officials involved in questionable flood control projects.
