Media security is the activity of defending against attacks that leverage content and influence through any type of media (digital, social, broadcast, and beyond) to cause harm to an organization's reputation or brand image. Developing and launching communications campaigns that take a stand on political, social, or human rights issues or represent a company's or brand's values benefit from employing effective media security procedures.
