๐ THE BLOOM INSIGHT & REFLECTION
Advent begins with a wake-up call โ not of fear, but of hopeful readiness.
Jesus warns that the coming of the Son of Man will be sudden, like the days of Noah. People were living ordinary lives โ eating, drinking, working โ yet unaware of the grace or judgment about to unfold. His message is simple and urgent:
Stay awake. Be ready. Live prepared.
But readiness is not anxiety; it is orientation โ a life turned toward God.
Isaiah prophesies a glorious future where all nations stream toward the mountain of the Lord. Swords become plowshares; nations learn war no more. Advent begins with this vision because hope fuels vigilance. We stay awake not because we fear the end, but because we long for the dawn.
Saint Paul echoes this urgency:
โThe night is advanced, the day is at hand.โ
He invites us to cast off whatever belongs to darkness โ sin, complacency, old patterns โ and put on the armor of light. Advent is both a beginning and a battle cry: the battle to awaken our hearts, to prepare room for Christ, to live in the light.
To be ready for the Lordโs coming means living each day with purpose, love, mercy, and clarity โ hearts alert, souls open, steps directed toward Him.
๐ซ THEMES TO BLOOM IN HEART:
๐ Holy Readiness: Live each moment prepared to meet Christ.
โจ Light Over Darkness: Let go of what dims the soul; embrace what illuminates.
๐ Hope for Godโs Peace: Advent looks toward a world transformed by divine love.
โจ KEY VIRTUE: Watchfulness
๐ฏ CHALLENGE:
Choose one area of your life where spiritual โsleepinessโ has settled โ prayer, charity, forgiveness, patience โ and take one concrete step today to awaken it.
๐ก TAKEAWAY:
Advent is not waiting for something far away.
It is preparing for Someone already near โ Christ, who comes into every moment that is ready for Him.
