NCMF–NCR Holds Bantugan Stakeholder Recognition Honoring Outstanding Partners at Hotel Lucky Chinatown

Manila, Philippines — The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos – National Capital Region (NCMF–NCR) successfully conducted the prestigious Bantugan Stakeholder Recognition Ceremony on December 1, 2025, at Lucky Chinatown, Manila, honoring exemplary individuals, institutions, and partner agencies for their unwavering support to the Muslim communities across Metro Manila.
The ceremony highlighted the continuous collaboration between the NCMF–NCR and its key stakeholders from the AFP, PNP, BJMP, DILG, local government units (LGUs), religious councils, community organizations, and civic partners, all of whom played vital roles in strengthening peace-building programs, community development, and cultural advancement.
NCMF–NCR Regional Director Dimapuno A. Datu-Ramos Jr emphasized the importance of unity and active cooperation among government agencies and Muslim community leaders.
“The Bantugan Recognition is a celebration of partnership and shared commitment. Our awardees are living proof that inclusive governance and genuine service can uplift every corner of our communities,” the director stated.
One of the notable honorees this year was Board Director of the NCMF–NCR Muslim Consultative Council (MCC) and Chairperson of the MCC–Malabon, who received recognition for exemplary leadership
Hadjie (Tanjie) Taher Pangandamun Mikunug and dedicated service in fostering interfaith understanding and guiding vital community initiatives within the city of Malabon.
The awards presented during the ceremony included:
Outstanding Government Partners Award – for AFP, PNP, BJMP, DILG representatives who continuously support Muslim programs, security cooperation, and community welfare.
Local Government Support Award – for NCR LGUs that actively assist in Muslim affairs, socio-economic programs, and cultural engagement.
Community Leadership Distinction – for MCC leaders, Ustadhs, and key Muslim advocates promoting unity and good governance.
Bantugan Service Excellence Award – for individuals and organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to NCMF–NCR advocacies.
The event also showcased cultural presentations and reaffirmed the agency’s mission to uphold the rights and welfare of Muslim Filipinos, ensuring that every community is heard, represented, and empowered.
NCMF–NCR expressed its gratitude to all honorees for their steadfast service, calling for continued collaboration toward peace, development, and the preservation of Islamic heritage within the urban landscape of Metro Manila.
