đź–¤ A Quiet Visitor at My Fence
This morning, a black cat appeared out of nowhere and lay quietly on top of my fence. I didn’t know where he came from, and I didn’t disturb him. At first, I felt a little afraid—after all, black cats have long been surrounded by mystery, both good and bad. But when I saw that he was scared of me too, I realized… maybe we were both just trying to feel safe.
I chose to respond gently. I didn’t want him to be afraid of me.
And as the day passed, I felt something shift—I began to see him as more than just a cat. Maybe, in a quiet way, he was a protector. A silent reminder to stay calm, to stay kind, and to stay grounded—even when things feel uncertain or strange.
I still feel a little nervous as the night comes, but mostly… I feel peace.
Maybe not all messengers have wings. Some have fur and silent eyes—and lie on your fence all day just watching.
Let only Your presence remain here, Lord.
