To better serve the learners, the Grades 2, 3, 5 and newly-hired teachers of Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School (DPMES) attended a three-day School-Based Training of Teachers on the Revised K to 12 Curriculum held simultaneously at the school library and conference room on July 3-5, 2025.
Mrs. Wilma C. Obras, the school principal, expressed her gratitude and pride in the teachers for exerting extra effort in deepening their understanding of the curriculum which she said would be instrumental in delivering the best quality education to learners.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Josephine L. Cuaresma, Master Teacher I, challenged the participants to apply all the insights and knowledge they had gained during the three-day training.
โProfessional development doesnโt end when the session does. It begins in the classroom,โ she reminded everyone.
Ms. Maria Angela B. Torres, Teacher I, warmly accepted the challenge on behalf of all the participants.
Teachers who previously attended the division level training served as facilitators/trainers during the school-based sessions.
For Grade 2, Mrs. Mary Ann S. Coloma facilitated the sessions; for Grade 3, Mr. Arlan P. Soliven; and for Grade 5, Mrs. Julita F. Reintar, Mrs. Johsie G. Garcia, Ms. Eleanor B. Guzman, Mrs. Rosalinda F. Licardo, Mrs. Ma. Teresa F. Ong, Ms. Mary Joy R. Rejoy, and Mrs. Belinda P. Parallag.
