We are currently in Vietnam for the Vinfast media tour and we got to spend the day at the Vinfast Hai Phong Manufacturing Complex. It's always interesting to watch the production line to see how vehicles are made step by step. We also got to test three vehicles that are familiar to us - the VF 3, 6, and 9.

First on the agenda for this trip was a visit to the BYD HQ in Shenzhen where we had an audience with BYD Asia Pacific Auto Division General Manager Liu Xiuelang and other officers.
We also got to see many vehicles including the much talked about YANGWANG U9 that can push out 1290HP. Its Extreme variant was recently in the news for being recognized as the world’s fastest production vehicle having clocked 496.22 km/h.
It’s a shame the weather didn’t permit us to visit the other facilities including the crash test and NVH labs.
