Anong Kwentong Mt Guiting-guiting mo?

9 years ago naaya akong akyatin ang G2 without me knowing kung anong klaseng bundok ang aakyatin ko. Yung hindi ako aware sa difficulty ng bundok na to 😂😅
Maraming nag doubt na kakayanin ko syang akyatin even ng mga nakasama ko sa previous mountains na naakyat ko prior to this mountain. Ano nga bang bundok ang mga naakyat ko to let them know and be satisfied na kakayanin kong akyatin ang G2?

Seriously, their doubts had me thinking...
"kakayanin ko ba?
Ano bang klaseng bundok to at maraming natatakot syang akyatin?
Hindi pa nga ba talaga ako handang akyatin to?"

The discouraging words that I received came from individuals who, at the beginning, encouraged me to embark on my path to becoming a mountain enthusiast. However, their doubts and demotivation nearly led me to reconsider my decision to climb this mountain.

Looking back on my journey, I am filled with pride at the determination that allowed me to overcome the doubts and skepticism of others. Despite their discouragement, I chose to trust my own instincts and get to summit one of the toughest mountains in the country. 😍🥰

My love for the mountain has just gotten stronger after finishing this one heck of a climb. I had enjoyed the climb and even made a lot of friends and opened my network. It ignited that fire of wanting to climb more and more mountains.

Those great stories of one to another and their experiences on each mountains they've climbed made me want to experience and witness more beauty that this world entails. I am incredibly grateful for those who initially doubted my abilities, as their skepticism only fueled my determination to prove them wrong. 💪

Story time 🤣

Back in 2015, I took my first hike on Mt. Pulag (Akiki Trail). It's only been more than a year since I started hiking mountains. We set up camp at the saddle which is around 5mins away from the summit. It was around 3am or 4am when I felt the urge to go to the toilet and it was freezing cold.

I went to the makeshift toilet, which is just a few steps away from the saddle camp. I was doing my thing when the wind blew hard and opened the wooden door of the makeshift toilet. 🤣🤣🤣 Luckily, it was still dark and nobody was near enough to see me inside toilet hahaha. I reached for the door and close it, finished my thing, then went out and walk away just as if nothing happened.
