Hello everyone, Its been awhile since I posted something for my page.

2 and a half months ago I was hired as a community manager intern at a local company. Its not like the kind of social media management gigs that I have. Since this company has already clients and we were also launching an event which just finished, I worked with multiple hats.

What I just love about it is I was learning a lot of things. How to work with a bigger team, how to better my communication and more.

This experience is helping me be better in my craft as a freelancer.

Soon I will be activating this page and post contents again...I cannot say when but I want to share all my lessons being part of a content marketing team.

I’m excited to share my experiences as someone new to the freelancing world, rather than an expert.

My freelancing journey started with my "eye for design." This talent led me to become a community manager for a Filipino creative community with over 17k members, alongside Mommy Mk Bertulfo, founder of FHMoms. I've also helped clients with their brands through my SMM services, including creating graphics and more.

While I may not be an expert in Graphic Design, my passion for helping and sharing opportunities in creative freelancing and business drives me. I’m thrilled to be invited by Nabbe Francisco for this webinar.

Here is a peek into my daily hustle! 👩‍💻

As a part-time freelancer and full-time mom, my workplace is a shared office with my hubby....

But you know what they say - a productive workspace is a productive mindspace!

This is command central where I craft everything 🪄 - designing eye-catching graphics, editing videos , and brewing up strategic social media plans for my clients.

It may not have all the aesthetic set-up you see online just yet, but I feel so blessed to be able to work from home while being present for my kids. 👩‍👧‍👦

My dream is to have my very own creative studio someday, filled with inspiring decor and all the tools to really level up my services...

But for now, I'm grateful for this cozy corner that allows me to pursue my passion while prioritizing family. 💓

Let me tell you a quick story about a client of mine... 👩‍💻

A month ago, I got a message from my relative in Canada who owns a fashion boutique in the Philippines. "Ica, I need help establishing my presence on social media. A physical shop alone just won't cut it these days," she said. 👗💄

So I checked out her profiles, and while she had lots of gorgeous fashion items, the branding was inconsistent, there was no info about the owner, and it looked pretty cluttered. I knew we had to revamp things! 💥

For those new to my page, I'm Ica, a Social Media Manager passionate about helping businesses with online products create consistent, on-brand content.

The pandemic pushed my husband and me to sell our nutritional supplements online when we had to close our physical store. This experience opened our eyes to the many businesses forced to adapt their marketing strategies.
