❗️Application process as
Caregivers in South Korea🇰🇷❗️
⭕️Things to be followed:
🇰🇷 Wait for Registration from DMW announcement which can be seen on their website and FB page.
🇰🇷 Must have NCII Certificate in Caregiving and appear on TESDA website
🇰🇷 TOPIK exam, Skill Test (physical exam) and Interview must be passed.
⭕️ Qualifications:
🇰🇷 Age from 24 ~ 38 yrs old only
🇰🇷 Applicants with NCII for Caregiving
🇰🇷 Applicants with no history of addiction to drugs, h**p, psychotropic drugs or mental illness
🇰🇷 Applicants should have no criminal records
🇰🇷 Applicants with no record of deportation or departure order from Korea.
🇰🇷 Applicants are not restricted to leave the Philippines.
🇰🇷 Applicants did not stay in Korea for more than 5 years under E9 and E-10 visa.
🇰🇷 Applicants do not have color vision (color blindness, color weakness)
⭕️ Requirements to submit:
🇵🇭 SCANNED PASSPORT (data page only)
- with proper format (JPG or JPEG)
🇵🇭 SCANNED ID PICTURE
- with proper format (JPG or JPEG )
🇵🇭 SCANNED CAREGIVING NCII CERTIFICATE
- valid NCII for Caregiving issued by TESDA
✅ Note:
⛔️ On the date of registration itself, the files through online registration will be attached
⛔️ Sizes of ID picture and Passport have the right size:
▪️PASSPORT- 100KB or below
▪️ ID PICTURE- 15KB or below
⛔️ TEST FEE- 24$
⛔️ TYPE OF EXAM: Computer Based Test (CBT)

💢 E9 visa will be the type of visa to be issued for Caregivers. (During EPS program)
💢 registration may change depending on agreed agreements of DMW and HRDK prior to making the announcement.
💢 this posted guidelines are based on the first made Registration for Pilot Episode for Caregivers last May 2024 (so it may still have changes if in case)
💢only DMW or Department of Migrant Workers can apply and process applications through Government Placement Branch.
💢 HRDK or HRD-Korea Philippine Center for EPS and DMW will supervise all applications to Caregiver for South Korea

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PILOT PROJECT ON THE RECRUITMENT OF CAREGIVERS UNDER THE EMPLOYMENT PERMIT SYSTEM (EPS)

The Department of Migrant Workers announces the implementation of the Pilot Project on the Recruitment of Caregivers under the Employment Permit System (EPS) Korea. Under the pilot project, 100 Filipino Caregivers with the following qualifications will be recruited, screened, and employed to provide caregiving assistance to eligible Korean households, specifically, those composed of dual-income couples, single-parent families, or families with pregnant women.

1. Female, between 24 to 38 years old as of the first day of the registration;
2. With valid TESDA NCII on Caregiving;

3. Pass two rounds of screening (Korean Language Test, medical and psychological health examination, English screening interview; and physical test

Applicants will be disqualified if found to have:

1. Criminal and drug record;
2. Record of deportation from Korea and travel restriction from the Philippines;
3. Color Blind;
4. More than 5 (five) years stay in Korea with E-9 or E-10 visa

The selected caregivers shall mainly provide assistance to children, including infants, and pregnant women, and assist in carrying out daily activities such as cleaning, laundry, and kitchen work related to caregiving, and other duties necessary and desirable to his/ her function as caregiver.

The caregivers will be directly under the employ of certified agencies which are
accredited by the MOEL under strict standards, and which will ensure equal treatment from their employers under labor standards and protection of human rights.

The DMW and MOEL-HRDK will undertake the recruitment and hiring procedure for the caregivers from May to July 2024.

Successful candidates will undergo the required pre-departure and post-arrival
Orientation/briefing. Korean households will likewise required to undergo orientation.
