Diamond EV Corporation and Legado Motors Inc. officially announce their partnership. Dongfeng commercial electric vehicles and passenger electric vehicles are now all under one roof. Check out the Nanobox which is currently the most affordable 5 door hatchback capable of more than 300kms on a single charge for only Php 888,000. It can comfortably seat two 6 footers and two adults! This may be a compelling entry to full electric vehicle as a solution to soaring fuel prices as well as air pollution reduction in Metro Manila. Expect to see more electric commercial vehicles as well at the Nanobox on Philippine roads sooner that you expect. We’ll be reviewing the full EV Van from Dongfeng soon. Stay tuned folks!

This is a 2012 parked on its own away from the rest of the vehicles at the mall. These are the car owners you would love to purchase used vehicles from. Obviously the owner makes the effort to prevent door dings from happening. It’s not far fetched that this vehicle probably has a thick folder of the cars service history. I was compelled to take a photo of this “makinis” example of an 11 year old van that can still get looks and mistaken for a younger model. That’s what sustainability is about, making the right choices to maximize the life or intended purpose of an object and in this case, a vehicle. The same goes for us humans. Happy long weekend!
