12 sessions done! Our KINDERGARTEN LEARNERS just finished Stage 1 Groups 1-3 sounds of Jolly Phonics! 🎉Listen to them read full sentences confidently — from satpin sounds to blending multiple words.

I wasn’t able to capture their faces this time (tech hiccups 😅), but their voices show how proud and capable they are! 💛

🚀Finally! DepEd, through the newly launched ARAL-Reading, has highlighted playful ways to help children hear and see sounds in words—like using clay dots or counters. This was shared to me by a friend who joined the seminar yesterday. The idea is: children feel and see each sound before linking it directly to letters. Some teachers then extend this into writing or placing dots under letters as a scaffold—a simple but powerful tool that makes blending so much easier. I couldn’t be more excited!

I’ve prepared a set of CVC dotted flashcards you can use right away—perfect for guiding little readers into confident blending. ✨
