A single photograph can capture more than just faces — it can preserve the very essence of time. The image series taken in 1994, 2001, and 2006 reveals a powerful story of family, love, and the passage of life. In 1994, a large family gathering shows multiple generations together, from a small child to elderly women, all seated in front of a stone wall — a snapshot of togetherness. By 2001, the group becomes smaller, with younger faces present but fewer elders, symbolizing the inevitable changes brought by time. Finally, in 2006, only four elderly individuals and one younger family member remain, highlighting the profound impact of life’s journey and the fleeting nature of shared moments. These photographs are more than just family portraits — they are a reminder of the fragility of life, the importance of cherishing relationships, and the need to live every moment fully while capturing precious memories. This visual timeline resonates deeply with themes of family legacy, generational change, emotional storytelling, and the timeless value of photography — proving that while the future is uncertain, the memories we preserve today will live on forever.

A billionaire once said:

Nakikita mo to? This isn’t just money. This represents your hard work, your sacrifices, the vacation you know you deserve but chose to delay, the late nights, the extra shifts, your discipline, and your ability to say no to instant gratification and things that don’t add value to your life.

Remember: other people’s emergency is not your emergency. Their lack of planning and management is not your responsibility.

Just because you’re capable of helping doesn’t mean you always should. It’s not selfish to prioritise yourself and your family. It’s necessary. 🖤

⚠️ DUE TO THE STRONG EARTHQUAKE THAT HAPPENED IN CEBU, TALKS ABOUT "THE BIG ONE" WAS RAISED AGAIN
This isn't a scare — it's a reminder that earthquakes are NOT predicted when, where, or how hard it will hit.

🌀 How bad can it get?

According to estimates, up to 50,000 deaths could possibly be killed if a massive earthquake called “The Big One.” hits.

Some incorrectly believe this is Magnitude 9 — but according to PHIVOLCS, The Big One at West Valley Fault is estimated to be at Magnitude 7.2, not 9. (Magnitude 9 usually occurs in subduction zones, not in the Valley Fault System.) )

Ano What is the West Valley Fault?

This fault goes through the following areas, according to PHIVOLCS:

✅ Quezon City (eastern side)
✅ Marikina (western side)
✅ Pasig (western part)
✅ Makati (eastern part)
✅ Taguig
✅ Muntinlupa
✅ Laguna above Sierra Madre

If it moves, thousands of lives could possibly be affected, especially in highly populated areas.

❗ NOT ONLY METRO MANILA SHOULD BE PREPARED

Earthquake can happen anywhere in the Philippines:
✔ Cebu Fault (Bogo earthquake)
✔ West Valley Fault (Luzon)
✔ Eastern Philippine Fault
✔ Central Leyte Fault
✔ Davao–Cotabato Fault System.. and many more.

In addition, according to DOST Sec. Renato Solidum, even if only a magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit the West Valley Fault, it is possible that thousands of people would have died. Meanwhile, the fault that caused the magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Bogo City, Cebu last moved 400 years ago according to PHIVOLCS — proof that sleep is not fault forever.

✅ What to do NOW:

✔ Prepare a go-bag / emergency kit
✔ Know the family evacuation plan
✔ Get your house and building assessed
✔ Contact the barangay and LGU
✔ Avoid fault lines and landslide-prone areas

Not only Metro Manila but the whole Philippines should be ready for The Big One!
