CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—The 11th and 12th Civil-Military Operations Battalions, spearheaded by Lt. Col. Randy S. Veracion Inf (GCS) PA, led a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day, held at Headquarters 11CMOBn, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, today.

The activity reflected the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ continued commitment to honoring the sacrifices of Filipino heroes and preserving the nation’s freedom and sovereignty. The simultaneous conduct of the event in various locations symbolized the AFP’s solidarity with the Filipino people in upholding the ideals of democracy and peace.

Meanwhile, in his Independence Day message to Philippine Army personnel, Philippine Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido emphasized the values that sustain a free and united nation, “Ang pagkakaisa at pagmamalasakit sa bawat isa ang siyang tunay na diwa ng pagiging isang bansang malaya.” His message is a reminder of the important role of unity and compassion in strengthening the Army’s commitment to service and in contributing to a more resilient and democratic society.

The activity also formed part of the CMO units’ continuing efforts to build stronger ties with the civilian community and promote nationalism through collaborative, people-centered engagements.

Celebrating Eid Al-Adha through Beef Sharing with the TAHA Foundation and 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – In celebration of Eid Al-Adha, the 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion under the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM) extended manpower assistance to a community initiative spearheaded by the Taha Foundation, distributing beef packs to residents of Baseco, Tondo, Manila and Salaan Compound, Barangay Culiat, Quezon City on Sunday, June 08.

The activity served as a meaningful gesture of unity and respect for Islamic traditions, strengthening the bond between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Muslim communities within the urban areas. It reflects the shared commitment to fostering peace, inclusivity, and humanitarian support across different faiths.

Through the provision of logistical and manpower support, the 11CMOBn ensured the smooth and orderly distribution of beef packs, helping bring joy and sustenance to families as they observed one of the most important feasts in Islam.
This collaborative effort with the Taha Foundation is one of the many engagements of the 11CMOBn in promoting cultural understanding, religious respect.

Celebrating Eid Al-Adha through beef sharing together with the 11th CMO Battalion

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion under the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM) successfully distributed a total of 1,000 beef packs across Metro Manila, on Saturday, June 07.

The initiative was led by the Integrative Center for Alternative Development (ICAD) Foundation, together with international partners. Simultaneous distributions were held in Quezon City and Valenzuela, with support from local barangay officials and school staff, ensuring the smooth and orderly delivery of beef packs to community members.

LTC ARNIEL C TORMIS (INF) PA of NCRCOM, presented an audio-visual presentation highlighting the Armed Forces' efforts in the West Philippine Sea, encouraging awareness and civic involvement through knowledge-sharing.

This showcased the commitment of local and international partners to nation-building, peace, and solidarity—uplifting lives and fostering deeper civil-military and interfaith collaboration in the National Capital Region.
