PSICOM author Ma. Ana Cruzate collaborates with LHS for Writing Workshop

Bestselling author Ma. Ana Theresa L. Cruzate, known as TheLadyInBlack09, ignited the creative spark of aspiring writers at Lagro High School on October 24, 2024.

In a workshop hosted by PSICOM Publishing, Cruzate captivated high school students with her expert insights, storytelling techniques, and hands-on activities.

In an open forum, the author briefly discussed her writing genre including her experiences as a writer and tips on how to cope with rejection.

The event offered high school students a unique opportunity to enhance their storytelling skills through engaging activities and expert advice from the esteemed author.

At the end of the talk, she encouraged the young writers with a quote, "Trust the process. Waiting is part of the journey; every result prevails a lesson."

LHS joins QC mayor single-use plastic ordinance
By: Josel Sapitan

Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) led the raising of tumblers to show support in mayor Joy Belmonte ordinance, earlier today at Lagro High School covered court.

The QC mayor pushes the prevention of single-use plastic stipulated in QC Ordinance SP 2876 by giving tumblers to all students.

After the school kit distribution last July 22, our principal Mrs. Zaida Padullo, SSLG advisers Mr. Awi Cestona, Mr. Cyrus Yruma and officers encouraged Lagronians in the campaign through flag ceremony; to use the tumbler daily.

by Paul Isaac Gabriel A. Mananquil
Grade 11-Araullo

Getting ready for the opening of classes on July 29, Lagro High School conducted a parents’ orientation today July 27, 2024 to brief them about the school’s rules and regulations and to discuss updates, pointers, and other matters concerning the opening.

The orientation led by Mrs. Zaida Padullo, principal, highlighted the current policies and guidelines to be followed this coming school year.

LHS highlights ‘bayanihan’ spirit in Brigada Eskwela

Meanwhile, the LHS, together with its learners, parents, teachers, partners, and stakeholders, highlighted its bayanihan spirit and resiliency as they led the school kick-off of the 2024 Brigada Eskwela (BE) on July 23–27.

Anchoring on the theme “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” the BE, or School Maintenance Week, Mrs Padullo recognized the collaborative efforts of the community to better prepare for the school opening this year and to improve the facilities that will be used on July 29.

The event aimed to ensure a clean, safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment for both learners and staff, while also making sure that this will address the needs of the schools and improve students’ learning outcomes and competency.

The school maintenance week lasted for a week.
