INSPIRE | The search continues for aspiring campus journalists ready to represent Lagro High School in the upcoming Schools Press Conference.

We are still accepting applicants for the following group categories:

Radio Broadcasting
• News Presenter/Writer

Online Publishing
• Writers (All Categories)

Collaborative Desktop Publishing
• Feature Writer

Application Schedule: July 2 & 3, 2026
📍 Building Castelo 2, Room 202 – English Journalism Room

The schedule will follow the same batching as last week's group category application:

Grades 7, 9, and 12
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Grades 8, 10, and 11
8:00 AM – 12:00 NN

SBPC 2026 PHOTOS | Determined to reclaim the crown once again, over 100 Lagronians showcased their passion and talent during the PM Session of Day 2 of the School-Based Press Conference 2026 Individual Categories.

Different categories, different styles, different perspectives, and different stories, yet all united by one goal.

The competition is far from over, and the best is yet to come.

MUST READ | Attending SBPC 2026?

Please take note of the following reminders before attending:

• All individual categories will be held simultaneously. Participants may attend on June 17, 18, or 19. Simply proceed to the English Journalism Room at your designated time and state the category you will be competing in.

• Participants must attend during the session opposite their assigned class schedule:

Grades 7, 9, and 11: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Grades 8, 10, and 12: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

To avoid disrupting classes during the Instructional Block, students in the AM session (pang-umaga) should attend after their classes, while students in the PM session (panghapon) should attend before their classes.

VISUAL | But wait, there’s more! LHS Courier is also looking for dedicated Layout Artists and Digital Artists who have a passion for telling stories and headlines through art. All activities related to the application process will be conducted online through Messenger group chats.

You may register for the following specializations:
• Layouting
• Digital Cartooning

For Layouting, we want creatives with a background or skill set in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity, or Canva. If you can handle multiple design platforms, that's perfect!

The Lagro High School Courier proudly celebrates the release of its latest issue, made even more momentous by its recognition as RANK 1 – OVERALL CHAMPION, Most Outstanding Publication in Quezon City.
